I had death anxiety all my young life and then when I was 21 I prayed to God and asked him for eternal life which the bible says is available to us through Jesus's dying on the cross for us. I did what the bible told me to, at that stage I had never been to a church, and asked God to forgive me for my sins and I asked Jesus to be my Lord, I am now 59 and have ever had a day of fear about death or anything since. Watch the people who are dying and have peace and ask them why, its usually because they know that God exists, all you have to do is say God if you are real and Jesus really is your Son and there is such a place as heaven then please show me. I know for a fact that He will. God bless you for very kind heart.

I am 92 years old, and I feel my days are numbered.. So far I can get around, drive, and do what I have to do even though I experience a lot of pain from arthritis, discomfort from digestive problems and shortness of breath. I am thankful that I can still live in my house -fifty years already! But I am anxious about finishing things before I die. Mainly, I want to finish writing memoirs or little stories I can remember during my life (mostly amusing.) and present them as one body, which I hope my son-in-law, who is in the book business, can put together and print. This would be my legacy, along with my prints, which I don't create any more.

Yes, I’m kids scared of my own death because, of what I saw with my husband’s death the way he passed and that he was so sad just before he passed due to he didn’t get the food that he wanted and he didn’t like the food that he had to choose that was giving to him because, he had a terminal illness of CHF and we/I know the look on his face is the image that I will never forget. As he struggled to live a good while before death. He knew as we knew they only gave him 0-6 months to live. I was with him every single day/night. I watched him suffer. I just won’t ever forget it. So now. I have som fears about my death when that time comes.

I really appreciate your video and your time to really think about this subject. I really appreciate you share this subject in an honest and straight forward thought out manner. I believe it is a journey to come to terms with death and dying to really contemplate the different types of death meaning premature death and elderly death. As we search to grow, improve and understand we start some where and we keep going until we feel like we have a understanding of it and to that degree your lucky. Many people do not understand death and the dying process of loved one it all just comes to soon. Maybe you could and should write it down and write a book. Give your skill and knowledge to others as you have in this very valuable video. Sometimes when i talk or write i feel like lolol why do i do it? no one even care...im such a burden to people just talking.
You have a very good video that i believe people would like to share in to begin to understand their own feelings and thoughts they have had....so thank you so much for sharing this your not alone

Hay Holly. I have dealt with the fear of over the years. In 2010 I got very depressed over the thought of dying. It me a good few months before I started to feel better mentally. My mother died in February of this year and the fear and anxiety of death came back. I am still dealing with these feelings of anxiety. I want you to know that you are not alone. I know what you have been going through. May God bless and look out for you.

Thank you for bringing this up. I haven’t had death anxiety all my life but I have experienced it here & there with patients. I’m currently preparing myself for my Als patient & family that I have been with for awhile. I think I will allow myself a good cry day & then try to distract myself after that. That’s my plan. We will see how it goes. I love them all so much & it’s gonna be hard.

I watched my aunt pass away November 6 in hospice and I’m 17. I now have been so scared of the afterlife, before I used to believe in it and since I seen her go I don’t. I’m looking for anything to give me hope again. I don’t want my mind to die with my body, but it will.

Listen to premier Christian radio , god will meet you where you are. Jesus died for you, Jesus loves you. In fellowship and following him-considerable challenges/blessings lies path to eternal LIFE afterlife where I believe we have a dis-embodied state post death, judgement after death. Believers skip a judgement before last judgement when Jesus returns with all his angels to separate believers from unbelievers wheat from tares, sheep from goats. And for those with Jesus his friends no more pain sorrow or death.

There was an in-depth study of people who were pronounced dead or had near death experiences and almost every single one of them stated they met a loving God during their death. Apparently the researcher believed in God after he collected the findings. You can look it up, it's a really interesting study!

Thanks for sharing. I'm not a medical professional, but my father passed three years ago, and both sets of my grandparents passed a number of years back. And I spent a lot of time in the hospital, in the ICU, and in hospice for a few family members. I also do Standardized Patient Work, where they hire actors to play patients for medical students, and one of the cases I've been doing for the last year is a bad news case, palliative care for a patient who has terminal cancer and only has months to live. Long story short, I definitely have my bouts with death anxiety. I've tried doing some exposure therapy, writing out and recording my fear and listening to them over and over, trying to get as worked up as I can, as a way of decreasing anxiety.
Even with that, when death actually comes knocking, I don't know if you're ever ready for it. Losing my father has been one of the toughest challenges I've faced in my life. I'm not sure if it's a fear that can ever totally be overcome, but it's good to talk about it. Knowing that you're not the only one dealing with this fear is a bit comforting.

Many years ago, my first wife died at 37 after a long illness. She died at home, and it was unexpected. Within 90 Days, both of her primary HHC Providers quit the business, because her loss had affected them so badly.

Ever since my "self realization" experience, most of my anxiety has gone away. I realized that I'm not my mind or body. "I" am the observer of my mind and body. And logic tells us that the observer is always separate from the observed. You and I and everyone else are Pure Awareness and literally immortal
The Vedanta New York channel with Swami Sarvapriyananda is great for learning about this stuff, I listen to all of his talks while I'm in bed

Hey, I’m a inpatient hospice nurse and I’m wondering if you have an FAQ sheet for hospice (why are you giving pain meds when the pt is asleep? Why does the pt need a foley? Why aren’t you feeding the pt? Why do you turn down the O2? Why aren’t you monitoring them on a heart monitor? Ect)

As soon as we are born the clock starts ticking death has no age it's better to focus on your goals while you're at your healthiest and happiest which is why we're here. Death is not be feared only the physical body dies our soul lives on forever, we get to be spirits on the other side and visit our loved ones all the time and guide them to a fuller and happiest life and then when we're all together on the other side as a family we get decide if we want to come back and experience life all over again so enjoy life now and fulfill your life purpose

You know their are several things that happen before a cardiac arrest/ heart attack and alot of it has to do with hypertension- 1 way to dispel this emotional upset is to take you blood pressure consistently. To become familiar with your body and to know if you have stage 1 hypertension. We all do have moments where we suffer these thinking** moments, where FEAR overtakes us into even a lack of common sense. Sometimes you may think I know this, I know what this is and it happens to you any way. One way to work through it is to ---develop a process of what to do if you think this is happening to you and your fear is real. Repeat the process when you think this, like take your blood pressure and write it down or use bluetooth device. This is a short answer you can find your way....Her video is very important part of life....thank you

I think having a relationship getting to know Jesus and sharing what you are feeling helps alot with anxiety and fear. Jesus is very comforting to me. I find myself talking alot to Him. He does calm my spirit and soul so I can feel peace with Him during my journey in life.

    • @pbk9

That works for stupid people only. It's not meant to be an offense but simply stating the fact that more intelligent people would not be satisfied with the answers found in the ancient book written by other people. If you wanna find peace, you need to search inside your mind and realize that those thought are thoughts only and they exist for an evolutionary reason. They don't need to have that kind of power if you train your brain not to let them. If you think more about death, you might find out that there is nothing wrong with it.

Well, not dressed, made-up and bejewelled you won't!!! - my father died nine weeks ago, and this is how you choose to dress? I'm looking for answers and explanations on TH-cam: I cannot take someone who chooses this look, for such serious and painful discussions, remotely seriously. Especially when you spend the first five minutes (and counting; though I'm about to pull the rip-cord here) exclusively talking about yourself...
