Hey Taras! I've been watching your videos for awhile now but i wanted to give you some pointers on archery. First of all I noticed you kept getting burned by the string string mainly because of your grip on the bow. Most hunters and especially competition shooters shoot with their grip hand open in the riser while the string and arrow hand pulls the riser tight into the cup of the riser hand. Also once this is achieved you should twist your riser holding arm almost a full 90° so that thr top of your forearm is facing to the right while still holding the bow itself perpendicular to the ground. You can still get string burned but proper shooting technique will greatly reduce that from happening. Second you broke the bands on your sling shot because dry firing any bow type weapon will cause string and/or limb damage. When you dry fire a bow, the string takes all the force of the limbs recoil. Hope this helps.
That's a really cool for a wrist rocket, I could definitely see myself tailoring the components to make it shoot a bit faster, a longer forearm brace would be first on the list, it looked like there is a lot of strain of the wrist making aiming a bit shaky.
None of these bows or slingshot/bows are any lighter, smaller, faster, more accurate or have as good of range ad a cheap .22lr pistol. Just buy a pistol.
To avoid the string slapping you after throwing an arrow, place the arrow on the outer side. You aren't doing it correct. The correct way to hold a bow the way you're placing arrows iis by your right hand and arrow by the left

Dude if someone had taught you to shot they would have got you to start by rolling elbow out so wrist is out away from string its a habit to do so when pulling to your anchor point

On the first bow you Should have flipped the other end of the bow. The arrow rest should have been on the other side. On the same side as your thumb.

It's called a protective arm guard. Almost everyone I know uses one for compound and recurve bows. Fortunately I have never had to use one.
