Usually these deletes are done after 190,000 miles as the carbon buildup plugs the cats. Pretty much cat deletes are a secondary thought here.

I just wanted to ask why is smoking coming out of the exhausts, and did you get the check engine sign on the dashboard ?
I’ve had a misfire coming from my cylinder 5 on cold starts every now and then and I’ve done everything to get rid of it that at this point I am thinking that it could be my Catalytic converter because I get a egg smell out of it anytime I am cruising around 60-70 just wondering if this could help me fix my misfire ?

Hi there sorry for the late response yes it does mine was smelling really bad 😭 so once I removed it it was a lot better ✨💪🏻 and it feels a lot smoother on the pulls before it felt like it was choking up but definitely helps alot ✨ thanks for watching and your support hope you get yours all sorted best of luck 👍🏻

Yes the light didn't go on at all and no problems
When you refer to it has not Lost it's power you mean like the performance on the car if you mean that it's much better in terms of performance especially because mine was so blocked up

There wasn't much different it was still silent very subtle difference in higher RPM at least that's how it was on my car 👍🏻💯 lol 🤣 yes definitely replacing them can be pricey well at least here in South Africa 🇿🇦it's pricey

I hate all catalyst converter,, my state requires them.. ..catalyst converter is like a nose plugs with some holes in them,.. making breathing harder... but have to have it on cause your air from your lungs is consider nasty to the environment..wtf..

Hi there thanks for the support on the channel I didn't replace mine I just put a thin layer on a paste of Gum Gum it's an exhaust gasket paste hope this helps you and all the best with yours
I did mine but it’s still sounds the same as before and it chugged a little when I’m stoped at a stop sign.. does anyone know why??

Pls can a lexus es350 2010 catalyst converter bank1 and bank2 directly fit into a lexus rx350 2008 model?
Hi there man unfortunately I'm not sure I don't think so because I have seen a RX350 2007 cat it's a bit smaller haven't seen a ES350 but in theory it's the same 2GR motor one been a 2GR-FE ES350 and one been a 2GR-FSE RX350 but they designed the exhaust and cats different 🙈 so if you going to cut them up and weld it all back together that may work 🙈. It was a 25mm flat wood drill bit and then a few long flat screwdrivers and a piece of square tubing with a hammer 🤣🙈

Recently purchased my Lexus IS 2007 82k miles now 84k. Clogged cat unfortunately I’m in a emission state. Not sure what to do I have emissions in next two years
Heyy man oh no that’s hectic bro I wish you all the best Are you not able to remove them and fit cat foolers it won’t show on ECU. But not to sure how they check it but you bro or if possible maybe you can get a second hand one at a car junk yard maybe 🤔 and swop it out but will be a bit tricky
Probably going to have to find a set from a junked/salvage car or 2nd hand.
@@Fyr_speedz Hi there, had mine removed some months back due to the foul smell "rotten egg". I noticed my fuel consumption increased and was told it was due to the oxygen sensor form the catalytic converter that was removed.
Any suggestions please?
Hi there I’m really not to sure on this because on mine it went down after I did mine and have you changed your air filter ? Because when mine gets clogged it pushes fuel consumption up maybe it could be that not too sure though and awhile ago my throttle was super dirty and all so pushed fuel consumption up then got a cleaning spray and cleaned it out and much better now that’s all I can recommend trying this is just my experiences

It was sluggish in power changed all the filters and oil still sluggish and had a really bad Sulfur smell read on lexus chats and they said was the cats so remove them and solved the problem and performance is much better ✨👍🏻
you are gutting it. You are not removing the cats.

How many miles was your car driven?

Hey man - did this to my is250 08 after replacing rear cats (fronts were not available at the time). Had a exhaust mechanic perform the task and clean the 02 sensors. Headers drilled out worked well, more smooth and little more power however P0420, P0430 codes popping up so I did a ECM reset and still continued. Any suggestions or could it be the 02 sensors need replacement? I heard if a spacer is applied to the outflow sensor connections this might help....let me know :-)

Very strange especially for the 08 model to throw codes I've only heard of like the 2010 up throw codes 🤔 could be the O2 sensor or maybe you should try and get a cat fooler alot of people say they work well or like you mentioned a spacer I wish you all the best and if possible could you keep us updated of which solved your problem
The reason the codes are popping up are because there isn't any catalyst due to being removed
No shit they will pop up lmao. Just put spacers on it.

Nope mine didn't show any lights I lost performance on the car and stuff but did change spark plugs , Oil , Filters , etc and still nothing and car felt like it was been choked up plus had a really bad egg (Sulfur) Smell When you put your foot flat down .Then did some research and alot of people saying it was the cats once I removed them it was a really big improvement on power and fuel consumption came down a lot 💯

@@Fyr_speedz i do exactly the same things to my car and nothing change, I thinking to delete the cats but I don’t want a check engine light and have to change the headers of my car cause it’s hard and expensive and all that for remove a check engine light

Shouldn't it be removing cat material will result in bad exhaust smell because fumes not filtered. I know before it was clogged, no new cats installed, but removed.

Hi there yes most definitely will get rid of that smell as for exhaust fumes it’s not so bad if you only remove the two primary cats it’s really low the fumes smell

This is just what I used because I had the tools
So basically a jack to lift car and some stands
Socket set
Drill with 25 mm wood Chisel/ spade tip drill bit
Square tubing about 5x5 a half a meter long
5 pound hammer
Long flat head screwdriver
A piece of wire
Lights to see how much still inside
And a container I'd recommend to catch all the pieces so you can sell it they are quite valuable

Hi there my cats where so block it stated to cause the car to drop in performance and it was choking the car in a way the moment the decat Was done you felt it in performance so in my opinion it helps the motor 👍

sounds aggressive with the cats removed I eventually want do a muffler delete on my IS250
Yes that will sounds really good with a muffler delete seen I few guys do that sounds really good in my opinion I would keep the resonator on because without that it sounds really loud especially for a daily car just my opinions 👍
