Sir, may I ask what is the purpose of placing black foam board on the rightside? is it to support only the heavy seiryu stones and to incline the stones without using too much rocks?
Thank you for your videos of your craft! Very inspiring and calming. I would love to hear how the water sounds at the end instead of the music if possible. Much Love and thanks again ❤️
Such a pretty build. Definitely want to try something like this. I’m curious why you used metal screening instead of fiberglass for the false bottom though since the water will rust it.
Hi Emma, thanks for supporting. There is no metal material used for this tank... The wire mesh is stainless steel and the rest is all silicon, stone , sand and foam board
@@mugenwoong the link to the Amazon listing says “paper outer”. Do you use foam if it has a paper layer on the outside? I’ve been looking everywhere for foam without paper

often excavation companies will blast rock before erecting a building. If you ask to remove some of the blast stone they may let you have whatever you can take as they have to haul it away anyways. Sometimes they also have a yard where they store the stone to sell as fill. Blast rock is great practice and it's basically free! (minus the cost of silicon)
Hi there, many many thanks for this inspiring peace of work. Could anyone help me with the following q's I'm presuming the box at the back will act as a filter with the water being drawn through by the pump is that right? Also is the foam board construct on the side merely to hold up the stone above or has it another purpose? Thanks anyone for the help. Much love🥰👍👍😁
Wow you are good!! It looks so natural. Im wanting to build one too for a while. Thanks for the inspiration en a view of those techniques. It seems like you put a lot of fishes at the same time in an just started tank. Did you have got problems with nitrite? Anyway awesome tank man.
What exactly was it that you put on top of the lava rock, before the moss and plants? Looked like soil of some kind but the consistenty/texture was a bit foreign looking to me Also any details on the specific greenery you put in? Like the first 'tree' like plant?
Beautiful indeed & very intricate work. By the way, what is that black material, which you were cutting on the board to make up for the partinioning walls?
I'm Using shiroi sand, more clean and less problem to my tank because it been processed. You can use collected sand as well but have to wash it and clean it well before use. If self collect is free 😜 .
Nice job but I have a few questions 1) do you need to mist it daily for the moss to thrive? 2) those are a lot of fishes in a very small volume of water. Did they survive? 3) I see no acwuatic plants to compete for nutrients with the algae. How do you manage the (inevitable?) algae growth? Thank you
The compartments are pretty much a foundation to make the height of the "cliff" instead of using extra natural resources like rocks, which will make the set up extra heavy. Also the compartment is also used to make that waterfall.

hi Mugen, i would like to ask about your stone preferences for this build, do u prefer to use few big stones for the base then use small stones for the shape of the cliff or u prefer to use more small stones to create the shape ? and for this build do u use thick and big stones or smaller and thinner stones? thanks in advance. love ur works !
I just subscribed, this is the video of yours ive watched. I noticed youre a smaller channel, and wanted to let you know this style of video and your build is very impressive. You are very skilled.
Thanks for the video. One thing: I looked in the description for your tank size, and I think you might be off on your measurements. It says 550 meters wide, but that is 1804 ft., which seems impossible given scaling clues like your hand, the fish, etc. Can I assume, like the height and the length/depth, that the width is meant to be measured in millimeters, and not meters? That would make it 1.8ft x 1.6ft x 1.2ft, which seems more likely than the width being a third of a mile long (.5km). Thanks for the info.

There is few type of foam board.. The one you must get is the foam board that water resistant or similar to polystyrene
