- Shifen Waterfall is the widest waterfall in Taiwan, and one of the most picturesque in all of Taiwan. It is easily accessible by foot from Shifen Train Station, and includes restaurants, gardens, and suspension bridges along the way.This is one of my favorite waterfalls,so I decide to do the Aquaterrarium in my house.

Amazing piece of art ! I just wanna ask that it's not necessary to use filter for water? How can you keep the water clean with just the pump?

Simple but looks great 👍as always. The silicone you use to anchor the hardscape to the tank, can you scrape them off in the future when you are going to rescape and reuse the tank?

If there are not many shrimps, there is no need to put a filter.
Did you seal the entire surface of the foam after carving? If so, what material was used? If not, do you have any issues like discoloration of the porous surface? Also, how did you remove the foam from the screened area? Thanks! The tank looks amazing!

beautiful waterfall! I love the song at the end however, one question: how do you clean the pump out? you wouldn't want bacteria build up.
The submersible pump is removable, so just take it out and clean it

Is this some special kind of foam? Does it not affect the shrimps and snails in the aquarium? Can you use it for a longer period of tine without corroding and spreading chemicals in the water? I am genuinely curios as I plan on making a waterfall project soon.

i just build one of this and i put it inside my bedroom for research purpose. but the water keep jumping out from the tank is it ok? or it will ruin my wardrobe and table in long term?
you can place a waterproof tray or mat under the terrarium to catch any spills. Additionally, consider adjusting the watering and drainage setup to prevent excessive water from escaping.
