    Beautiful!! I’m just looking to start on paludariums and every channel i see has such massive tanks and setups, you gave me just the confidence i needed to go ahead with my 30 gallon project!! (Also love the ferret trying to get in, half of my tank build is just figuring out how to keep my cats out hahah).

Cos male guppoes will hunt and mate with a female guppy until shes dead. Had it happen in my 4ft tank :( Lost sooo many females and they outnumbered the boys :(

    as i am studying and researching to create my firs paludarium, i have watched most, if not all of your paludarium set up.
    I see all your set up has no filter, naturally i thought you are using the plants as the filtration.
    Just like my heavily planted tank does not need filter as the dense plants absorbing the nutrients in the water provided from the fish waste, resulting in crystal clear water even without water change. just like an ecosystem in the nature providing for each other.
    But as i watch more of your videos, and watch closer, i noticed the waterfalls in your set ups do not go through the plants root system.
    Would you mind to explain this a little more?
    Apologies for all these questions but i am eager to learn.

      @ferretwonderland  12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I use absorbent cloth and water channels to provide moisture to different plants, making sure the amount is just right-not too much, not too little. So, the layout has to be planned very carefully.

    Been thinking of setting up an aqua terrarium and been saving up a lot of your videos for reference later. One question I had - what do you do to maintain the water level as you lose water through evaporation? I mean, is there something you do to maintain it at a certain level automatically or you just keep it at a roughly same level through top-off and water changes?

      Thank you for your kind words! The longevity of aquascapes can vary based on several factors, including the type of plants used, maintenance practices, and overall care. In well-maintained aquariums or terrariums, aquascapes can last for an extended period, potentially several months to a few years.
