Plus you must make a Spanish Will for any property you own in Spain

Correct. That's very important and to mention in the Will any Will you have in another country

IT took me some searching to come across your TH-cam videos, I can't tell you how many I have seen and people I have talked to including masterclasses in moving to Spain. and I just want to say your videos are the most informative I have come across. and I want to thank you for this. Everyone speaks in generalities and your group speaks in fact and details which is incredibly useful. it also does a very good job of selling your professional skills and knowledge, which honestly, I very likely will use here soon. I also like how you are a one stop shop for immigration, taxes and other issues. This is not a paid advertisement for you just the honest truth based on my experience so far.

Hi Alex Just been digesting this video re Visas. It was very very informative, honest and used language that was easy to understand.
We have a property in Quesada, we know where your office is situated . Would it be possible to arrange a chat with one of your people., to ask questions? Would there be a charge for this chat??? Jo

What happens if I married to my US citizen girlfriend while she is visiting Spain?

  • @TrevM0nkey

What are the legalities of working remotely on the 90-180-90? The girlfriend and I are looking at buying a getaway / holiday home within the next few years. We both work remotely but she has two young teenage daughters, so not looking to think about a full relocation for a good while yet.
As we're both home working we do have the ability to work remotely, so are looking at buying somewhere for holidays and long weekends... and when her daughters are older and at less dependent on having her around, being about to head out for a month at a time.
Anything about visas and working is digital nomad / NLV / Golden but nothing about casually working remotely for short periods.
Our idea is 90/180/90 and heading out with the laptops for long weekends to a couple of weeks. Then possibly when the girls have moved out, either digital nomad or carrying on with that before retiring with a NLV to full residency.

Unless I missed it - NOMAD Visa do you have any collaterals or advise on this ? Example - I’m a uk resident working for a large employer whom will allow for me to work in Spain - my wife is a self employed osteopath with 2 kids under 3.

Does anybody know if the Spanish consulate in San Francisco requires a physical appearance when applying for an NLV? When I call it says the number is disconnected and I can’t get an answer from their website. I live in Washington state, so it would be a pain to have to go there.

According to official Spanish emigration figures approximately 1,800 UK 🇬🇧 citezens in total applied for a Spanish Tax Resident Visa in the year's 2021 to 2022 this number is extremely low when you take into consideration the numbers pre Brexit what do you think the reason is for British citizens not choosing Spain as a retirement location.

Why haven't the Spanish government given any concessions to brits that already own a property outright in Spain...regarding the NLV you need proof of €28,800 per year if you are renting and €28,800 if you own a property...when you take in to consideration that if you rent its going to cost you approximately €500+++ per month...this doesn't make sense at all...when applying for a NLV.

Everything stinks about it… thats IPREXM is absolutely mentally insane ! They say a uk state pension is ample to live on but that adds up to a bout 7.000 per years o wth is going on ! The uk couldn’t organise a farting contest in bean eating competition.
The spanish economy is going to be in bits because people have to sell up and go !

We agree with your comments but at the moment property ownership is not taken into account for the financials although we have no doubt that it does help.

Does the time spent on a digital nomad visa effect the 90-180 allowance? I.e. can i spend 4 months in spain and 1 month in Portugal consecutively? Thanks Pete

Hi Pete, the DNV is granted for a 3 year period so it overtakes and gets rid of the 90 day in 180 day restriction.

Do you have to be married for a golden visa? Could I go with my partner?

    • @MyLawyerInSpain
      @MyLawyerInSpain  ปีที่แล้ว

If you both wish to enjoy the benefits of a golden visa then you have to be married. Otherwise you can apply and will receive the GV so long as you own a property in your name only for more than 500k without any debts of finance.

You can turn to Gibraltar if this is disturbing you.
