My stepfather passed away about 1 year before his retirement. Remember that none of us know how long we have. Slow laning feels safe, but is actually massively risky!

+Mike Graf I am sorry for your loss, but thank you you a lot for sharing that thought.
The general idea is to work now and live tomorrow, but that doesn't always go the way we want it.

How are you doing now in life after this book? Would you say it’s changed your life for the better and you’re on the right track?

  • @Illacertus

    Dear fastlaners & soon-to-be fastlaners,
MJ DeMarco is an accomplished entrepreneur and founder of Limo.com, the company that made him a multimillionaire by the time he was 33. He is now the founder of Viperion Corp., an online and print content distribution company.
I recommend you buy the book:
    - if you wish to found your own organization
    - if you feel like you're wasting your best years in a job you hate
    - if you're willing to work hard to become wealthy, but need guidance
    - even more so, if you feel all of the above apply to you
I've found the following quote to be one of the most powerful & inspiring, when it comes to listening to your heart.
“You have to break free of society’s gravitational force and their expectations. If you aren’t mindful to this natural gravity, life can denigrate into a viscous self-perpetuating cycle, which is society’s prescription for normal: Get up, go to work, come home, eat, watch a few episodes of Law and Order, go to bed . . . then repeat, day after day after day.” - MJ DEMARCO
    *The 4 Quick Changes*
    1. Dump hope as a financial plan.
    2. Make Time Your Ally.
    3. Quit chasing money, start chasing needs.
    4. Escape The Ceiling & Reinforce The Floor.
    *5 Commandments (Fastlane Business Evaluation)*
    1. Need: I want what you offer
    2. Entry: This isn't easy
    3. Control: No one can derail me
    4. Scale: This is useful to many
    5. Time: This exists on its own
    On a side note,
of course, I'm going to continue creating content on Greene's books. All the books I've animated since the release of the 48 Laws of Power trailer were announced in exactly the way they came out. In my last video on Self-Reliance, which, unfortuneately, quite a few haven't shown any interest in, I alluded to the extreme external pressure I feel to grow this channel. Without growth there won't be 23 more episodes on the Art of Seduction & 32 more episodes on the 33 Strategies of War, since I won't have the available time, nor the resources to create that amount of content. I'm currently working on a blog post that should give you a clear look behind the scenes. If you aren't already, follow me on Twitter or Facebook for updates inbetween videos.
Thank you all & have a tremendous day,
    Nenad (illacertus)

+Practical Psychology I create them, all of it. A lot of thought goes into every image I use & how they all play out together. In my point of view, they're very relevant to the script. I do not draw images randomly, although it's not always obvious.

There's lots of software that does all that, imports images from a library of images, then adds the pen thing...the software is like 40$ or something

I also really like your animations. I am curious how long it takes you to create an animated video if you already have the script? How much time you spend creating 1 image? Keep up the great work btw :)

My only suggestion would be, to maybe get a female or a friend (even I could do it for you), for your audio, i dont mind, but a lot of my friends said that your accent makes it hard for them to hear and understand the message

I only cover books I recommend. I wouldn't spend more than 10 hours animating something I didn't find worth buying. After listening to Jocko on Ferriss & Rogan's podcast I immediately ordered it, read it twice & am now listening to the Jocko Podcast featuring Echo Charles. It's one of the best things out there on leadership, because these guys know what the F they're talking about & especially, because they wonderfully explain what & how they learned, say, a particular strategy on the battlefield & then how you could apply that in business.

illacertus Your voice is as engaging and absorbing as your content and presentation of it.
Your French accent adds a seductive charm to your distinct voice that's different from the cliched and irritatingly 'same' voice& modulation, motivational videos are awash with.
Your voice and accent build an immediate bond with majority of the listeners just like Robert Greene's endearingly natural, instantly
    bond-creating timbre.
In some videos, you have used female voices for female characters. That adds further value to the content besides adding 'voice relief'.Perhaps, you can vocally underline a specific point by creating man/woman character occasionally and let them speak that specific point in the form of short, interesting dialogue or soundbites .
You are doing great, distinct and impressive work.See if you can evolve the same format to the next level of presentation that can strike a chord with Generation Z(born in the 21st Century)as well,as millennials and baby boomers are too deeply-set in their ways and preferences for their own good and resist change.
Take occasional week-long breaks in inspiring holiday spots that refresh your mind, body and soul.
Please continue to pronounce French names, words and phrases in their original accent& pronounciation and DON'T anglicize/americanize them. English is an inadequate language to communicate certain conceptual intricacies and finer nuances whereas French,Italian, Spanish and some of the European languages superbly delineate them effectively. So, pepper your videos with relevant French/Italian words&phrases wherever English is powerless. If need be,you can write the phrases and give the nearest English meanings of the same in the videos. This approach will enrich the viewer's experience and allows them to learn foreign words and appreciate/savor the nuances of effective communication.
I love French Literature&movies which I was able to understand and appreciate within the limitations of the English subtitles and translations.Pierre Melville,Jean Luke Godard, Truffaut,Verneuil,Jean Gabin,
    Roman-God like Alain Delon, Belmondo,Yves Montand,Fanny Ardant,Romi Schneider, Catherine Deneuve,Anouk Aimee,Sophie Marceau, Isabelle Hibbert,Juliette Binoche,Lino Ventura,et al.
I wish you the very best in all your efforts.May you become a Billionaire soon!!
