    This is an animated book summary of the 33 Strategies of War by my favorite author Robert Greene.
    In this chapter review, you'll learn at a minimum;
    how Xenophon led greek mercenaries against impossible odds
    what Margaret Thatcher & Donald Trump have in common
    Keys to Warfare
    why you should define your opponent
    that you test to ensure you've defined the right opponent
    how to distract attention away from you by using your opponents
    Reversal
    that in victory, you have to act conciliatory.

    Keep adding your comments. That's the point of the book and it's historical examples, that they can be applied on current situations and can be compared to them. Great video!

    Awesome video! I just bought the 33 strategies of war last week and I'm on the 4th chapter. I'm glad you're putting in your own excerpts that are not from the book, this gives your videos more value than just a carbon copy of the book :)

    I love your videos! They clarify so many topics and strategies that I try to use in everyday life. I am also a student of the "The Art of War" by Sun-Tzu and "The Prince" by Machiavelli. Do not apologize for accent. I can understand you quite well and it makes you unique.The accent also adds an authoritative quality to your videos like an old wise teacher giving advice to his pupils in a monastery or in ancient Greece.

    Welcome my fellow band of brothers to another animated book summary series on this channel. *Calm down* - the 1st chapter of the Art of Seduction is following up by the end of this week. It's about *15 mins* long & turning out great so far. Now, that I dodged the wrath of some of you, a few additional comments:
    - The zooming out part didn't render properly.
    - I decided I'm going to open a patreon account & accept donations from now on.
    - It's completely optional & up to your good will / interest in exclusive benefits to support me.
    - I left out the following Key to Warfare, because reasons:
    *Facing opposition implies your significance, stay focused.* / We've already talked about this in the 48 Laws of Power. If you've got enemies, celebrate, that means what you're doing, who you are, is a vital part in the machinery that is the change you're making. It's an indication for success. Do not let it affect you negatively. Success comes with resistance. Always remember that.
    Cheers & have a wonderful day,
    Nenad (illacertus)

      +Easton Wright Thank you, I take it as a great compliment. I was on my own since I was about 12 years old & most of what I remember up to those years sucked bad. Never forget Law #20 when making references....for example Trump vs Clinton. ...Always stay neutral. ....

    • @Illacertus
      @Illacertus  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Easton Wright When making references? Why? I'm not commiting to Trump, nor Clinton. I even mentioned I could care less living far away from US soil. I'd also like to think I made impartial statements, not disclosing a personal preference. Furthermore, the laws don't apply to everyting, every time, everywhere. And on another note, taking sides can be beneficial and even necessary for your survival (see e.g. Joseph Fouché).

    • @Illacertus
      @Illacertus  8 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Not trying to be mean, but I think what helped me the most was finishing college and thus getting a valuable internship where I had to slave away for over a year, then got a job proposition based on my efforts, then gathered even more practical experience & made some actual money all while reading as much as I could. I can only speak of my experience.
      If your plan is to quit college in order to launch your youtube channel I'd urge you to reconsider your approach. By all means go for that youtube channel, work on your online presence, but maybe the deathground strategy isn't the best bet here. You don't ever want to burn the ships without preparation.
      You're young mate, you got time on your side.

    Great to see you again.
    I really like the diversity of the art style. My favorite was the stick man like figures that you drew for Conor McGregor. Haven't seen that before. The music is also awesome. A little intense and obvious, but definitely amazing.
    Although I like the real life examples, I would warn against too many pop culture references. It might take away from the "timeless" wisdom. I liked the personal references instead. They are more relatable.
    Thank you for the video, you convinced me to buy the 48 Laws of Power and I am pretty sure you will convince me to buy this one as well.
