You guys are awesome. Because of the choice spirits you test - going green with envy from a german viewpoint and bourbon lover with somehow limited budget, but maybe even more because of what you make of it in a very natural and sympathetic way. I just know your channel for a couple of hours and watched have a dozen episodes, but I already know it will be a long time abo. Please go on doing what you're doing. Cheers
The passion for this is awesome, the insight helpful, the friendship evident. The talking over on another constantly is exhausting and killing the watchability. Clean it up!
Super excited for this review. I managed to get my hands on a bottle during a trip to Bardstown last year. Truly one of the finest bourbons I’ve ever had. I’m glad to hear you guys enjoyed it! Cheers!
I was fortunate enough to get to try the William Heavenhill Single Barrell 14 yr. 115 proof this past Christmas. Slightly different than the one featured in this video. It was fantastic! Very smooth and very delicious. Easily one of the best bourbons I have ever had. I am grateful for the experience.
Yes, this bourbon has "value" even at 250 dollars... if you cant buy a better bourbon then the stated price is the benchmark for the value. What is the price to experience standing at the top of Mount Everest...could you imagine the drop in value if you could take an escalator to the top...By limiting the access to the product....the experience becomes more exclusive thus the appreciation for just being able to share in it becomes greater....I will bet you don't remember the vast majority of times you drank run of the mill whiskeys....but you will always remember the best...for the rest of your life. You guys are great to watch, and I love how you share your knowledge in conversation....subscribed now!
Thanks for the review. Been a fan for some time and I think I figured it out. Dutch, has the most experience in bourbon. He has deep knowledge so his recommendations are for people who drink bourbon exclusively. Jules doesn't really drink outside the guild setting so he actually provides a nice perspective for people who don't drink a lot but may find a bottle here and there worth trying. Dillon has the most breadth of knowledge in that he looks like he has tried the most variety of spirits (scotch, tequila, wines, etc - Saxum? - that's hardcore). Ben is the lovable goof (maybe alcoholic?) who loves liquor and likes everything with alcohol in it (with rare exceptions that the group doesn't like) so his scores run together or just end up following Dutch and Dillon. Since you guys seem to like star wars, the best analogy is this: Dutch is wise old Obi-Wan, Jules is farm boy inexperienced Luke, Dillon is the experienced scoundrel badass Han-Solo, and Ben is Jar Jar Binks. Great review!
SJ Adams I like ben because he’s funny but he does remind me of the weird, crazy, drunk uncle that you’re obligated to invite to the Christmas party and was inappropriately handsy with your girlfriend that one year you never talk about. I kid, I kid.
I describe the complexity of a spirit as follows: an uncomplicated pour will have 1 or 2 notes upon the 1st and/or 2nd sip but once you get acclimated to those notes the pour becomes bland. Whereas in a complex pour once you get acclimated to the dominant note you start to taste the secondary, then the tertiary, so and so forth.
Your videos are a great way to end the week! Comedy gold and informative. And I will agree with the Butcher of Bakersfield. Rocky III all day long. Thunderlips! Beach scene with Adrian......You can't win!! Rocky IV is great though too.
Damn, You can't win is from Rocky IV ha ha. I meant to say: What do we have that can't be replaced? WHAT?! A house, we've got cars, we've got MONEY! We got everything but the truth. WHAT'S THE TRUTH, DAMN IT?! I still want to hear Ben's story. Netflix may want to pick that up.
Uniqueness!!!!! Jules your awesome man and I definitely get what you’re saying about the battle it’s shamefully underwhelming for what’s inside BUT!!!!! That should only cost it .5 not the whole point harsh man .....harsh
It’s good to review after knowing the $$ and the where... But the real review is the “ Blind taste!” Please do Blind taste with this and other..... it would be interesting!
Guys, A great follow-up after the Jimmy Kirk StarWars/Trek bourbon. Kindalike the two ends of the spectrum. That library must have been closed with all your noise and carrying on. Rocky IV since it is a KILLER in the rink!! Ben gotta get real!! Cheers!
Awesome review gentlemen, though you need to go to the 'Bourbon Heritage Center' at Heaven Hill distillery. Omg the beat box of songs from Rocky IV at end was incredible and hilarious at the same time. Cheers to unicorn bourbon!
How much was the 14yr Fitz? Maybe this would've also sold out if they put it in desirable bottle. Who knows, Pappy comes in a Wine bottle!?!?!? Glad you picked up this one Dutch & I'm definitely jealous!
Nobody wants to pay 250.00 dollars for a bottle but i would rather pay 250.00 for the great juice then pay 300.00 for 250.00 worth of juice and a 50.00 box or fancy bottle. What good is the box or fancy bottle when the juice is gone? I just want the juice.
Yo boys how drunk were ya’ll before tasting? Great job new special stuff = fun and yum but Dillion adding water is what the fellas who make the stuff recommend. But 2 fiddy is a ton o cash!! Someone got deep pockets. Still waiting for my T shirt 😯 Benny peaty ...doubt it buckaroo it aint Islay!
Prob my favorite show. And I’ve watched them multiple times .
The kid from Spider-Man is underscoring just to make waves in the group. I’d give a pinkie to get a bottle of this. 😂

Best video in awhile. Good work guild.

I will probably never buy a bottle this expensive but I watch because you guys are like a lot of us, just regular guys. And you crack me up! 😂

If there is any way u guys can pump out more videos a week please do. Great content.
Great review and intro to a previously unknown bourbon to me. Keep the great videos coming fellas!
Rocky 4 hands down, no doubt about it! This stuff sounds amazing. I've heard really good things about the 12 year too!

Like always good stuff guys!

Please do Blind taste with this and other..... it would be interesting!
Once again, awesome review guys 👍🏻🥃
BTAC Vs William Heavenhill 16?
“You look delicate” 😂, Jewels will not be persuaded, and Time in a bottle is a good analogy! Excellent review!
This is why I watch your videos to learn about the finer things in life 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Haven't got this one yet, have the William Heavenhill BIB , and 14 yr single barrel cask strength. The 14 year is the best bourbon i've ever had.
Damn expensive and damn good is better than damn expensive and disappointing. Sounds like a great dram.
Awesome review gentlemen, though you need to go to the 'Bourbon Heritage Center' at Heaven Hill distillery. Omg the beat box of songs from Rocky IV at end was incredible and hilarious at the same time. Cheers to unicorn bourbon!
how hard is this to get if you go to the distillery? Like is it usually in stock there?
How much was the 14yr Fitz? Maybe this would've also sold out if they put it in desirable bottle. Who knows, Pappy comes in a Wine bottle!?!?!? Glad you picked up this one Dutch & I'm definitely jealous!
7:30 Dillon is SAVAGE! LOL.
You should review "Hudson Baby Bourbon"
Online it’s $600 now
What can you say about buffalo trace bourbon?
What is Jules highest score, because that bourbon has to be fantastic!🥃
Really, does anyone know ? Because I would like to try to find that bourbon
I'll take a Talisker 18 and a Macallan 18 for $68 bucks a piece.

I'm a big Heaven Hill fan. I'm so jealous that I don't have a dram of that in my hand.
Astute viewers say that Value is price point and availability...where is this available again?? Come on Jules....

The word “peat’’ should have never came out of Bens mouth
why are some of you against water? lol youre gonna miss out. jules itll help get that burn out
What happened to this channel?
Excellent review; sounds like excellent booze. Entertaining. But one day I'll have to write an essay on how screwed up your scoring system is.
Ben, are you actually a butcher? Legitimately curious lol
If 99% of people can't get this then why even review it?
