My daughter and I were very lucky to attend a 3 day clinic coached by Athena & Catherine. Their detailed explanations were very helpful. They are the best! Susan C.
Another excellent video! Really well done Athena!! Honestly one of THE best explanations of how the body should move during a dink that I have ever heard! (that is truly a gift Athena, hope to see you in more videos)
I love the content and can't get enough of it. My dinks are inconsistent and I may be moving my body too much. Great tips/drills! Can't wait to go play tomorrow AM.
Stephen Erickson I agree she did a good job. I used to be a wrist dinker. Very inconsistent. Now I'm a shoulder dinker. Now, nobody wants to dink with me!
@@WorldChampInfinity yep that was definitely the problem. This morning my dinks and even my 3rd shots were even more consistent. It wasn't so much of a wrist issue for my situation but I was driving my body up with my legs and changing heigh levels too much.
8:50 This needs to be preached. I have so many opponents attack a low ball and hit it hard down the middle. The problem is, it's going to be in the opponent's forhand attack zone. I smack it right back at them and win the point and they look perplexed. Down the middle is not always the best option and neither is a hard shot. Beginners should know this because they are told middle is always good.
Athena this is the first video I've seen and can already tell you are an amazing coach and person.
One of the best videos... for me at my point in the game. I'm a newbie and love this.
Wow! This video was A++ excellent!
Wonderful instructions, very precise which helps me visualize exactly how to execute the dink! Thank you all!👍👍
what a good video. It was well explained and had the drills added at the end to emphasis the skill. Thanks Athena.
Athena does such a thorough job with her instructions. Lots of good information here with good examples of drills to use.

Very helpful!
Athena said some helpful stuff here.
Listen I see the ball but where is the pickles at and how do we use them like do we throw them at the opponent or eat them when we loose?
Fun & educational

GOOD STUFF!
This is great content! Could you do a video explaining the correct strategy for ernies?
She made the Ernie shot without a fault
Who is this player. I never see her in tournaments. Not Simone of course.
Video promotes all shoulder and no wrist on dinks and then shows Catherine brushing EVERY dink with her wrist.
Clean ernie "attempt"
