Simone, you're fantastic, as a player and a coach. I've watched a LOT of your videos and your instruction technique is excellent. You cover a lot of different aspects with very clear and detailed explanations. Thank you very much for your coaching!
Very good coaching! She PACKS the lesson with maximum instruction together with quick pace, maximum drill. Excellent encouragement! No time is wasted. She stays on task at all times, as a instructor should in order to maximize results for the paying customer.
One of the reasons I like Simone’s drills is because I’ve been doing them over decades. In tennis, badminton and Pickleball more recently. Very effective also in explaining spins etc. in my segment ‘spin is not a sin’ but a virtue.
Excellent!!! Watching you block and dink with Eddy, I see such little movement by you at the NVZ. But you are still able to get to every ball. Meanwhile your moving him all over the place! Pretty cool.
This will be helpful! My shoulder is aching from overuse between being a new Pickleball player & my longtime weight training. I don’t want to back away from either, but want to learn how to play smarter & stretch.
Excellent video, packed full of valuable tips. Something we all need to work on. I really like Simone and her enthusiastic attitude on the court! Thank you for posting.
Simone, you rock! Next time you come through the FL/GA state line on I95, Camden County Pickleball would love to have you give some lessons. We have a pretty large group of players that would love to have you.
You are an amazing coach, and I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you! I have a quick question: I struggle to decide when to use a block volley versus a punch volley. I end up using the punch volley more often because I believe it keeps the players back. Do you have any thoughts on that?
Nice feel Simone. Great hands-eye-brain coordination. And there is many more factors in that equation...main reason why there is small number of great players. But as long as the process is fun we can all try to get better. Two questions: 1."Is there a reason to change the pedal after it was in use for a while?" 2. "Do you think that game is going in direction of less drops and more drives?"Thanks
durdica mac paddle changes I believe are personal unless your paddle is completely dead. For me it all depends on how much I use it and beat up on the edge. Sometimes I have no choice but to replace it because it’s so beat up
Muscle memory comes into play from countless drills with 'not using reflex swings' from an attack shot. Softening, absorbing shots diffusing hard shots are amount the hardest to play due to our reflex tightening of grip and swing shots. Contrary to some advice of standing your ground especially at NVZ, not backing up is not altogether true. Against a banger coming at you at 100mph from NVZ, your response blocks will never beat his shot. Worst still, YOU have become THE TARGET. He wont need to aim at your feet, he is aiming at YOU. Unless your THE FLASH, you will be hit. Best thing is quickly take a step back (increase distance between shot) , squat stance, paddle lowered and ready for a block or let it fly.
boy eddie has the worst technique. His wrist and elbow are in bad position. also foot work and balance is off. Really his whole approach needs major work. if eddie continues to train using his form and techniques he wont improve or he may improve bad habits./
Let's just take a moment to admire how effortlessly Simone can place every single shot perfectly mid-coaching.
Easily the most complete video with the best information I have seen.
2:45 Next Lesson from Simone! PARCOR Over benches!!!
LOVE IT!!! Great drills

Love the pace and the energy she has while teaching!!! 1 on 1 with a pro cost much$$$$ thanks for sharing your knowledge
Love this tip, I tend to exaggerate my swings instead of minimizing and using my body.
Great player and teacher. Succinct instruction and demonstration with no wasted motion or excess description.
Hi Simon , I love watching all your videos!! I like to be great players like you when I’m 80 year old ! Please keep teaching more ! Thank you 😊
Excellent Excellent.....these are all my issues. Will watch this often.
Excellent!!! Watching you block and dink with Eddy, I see such little movement by you at the NVZ. But you are still able to get to every ball. Meanwhile your moving him all over the place! Pretty cool.
The best series of instructional videos available. Easy to follow, great drills, and seeing others apply the techniques. Awesome!

This is great much appreciated...great point about less movement and shorter swing.... Keep them coming....
Excellent video. Simone explains everything in easy to understand terms.
So glad for your generous/teaching videos. Looking forward to watching your matches at the Nationals.
Superb instruction.

Very informative. She’s always good at explaining.
I like how you say use your body vs the arms to block the volley.
Great video Simone! Needed this lesson badly! Thanks for taking the time to teach us! Your the Best1
Great drills.
Great video Simone!

Great tips as always !!!
Another wonderful lesson. Thank you.
Great drills. I also would like to see the student block volleying an all-out drive by coach Simone :)
Larry Wang that would be fun!
Great lesson! Looking forward to trying it tonight. 😀
VERY helpful - thanks
Well done!
Super helpful
Great video
Great lesson, this really helped me slow down the bang shots.
Great video! Where is your home base?
Can you do a video on returning low shots by your feet? I often find shots sneaking just below my paddle and at my feet.
Benjamin Leavitt sorry for such late response. Till now had not been able to jump in here and see these.
@@SimoneJardimPickleball also would love a run-down on how to do these digs and still keep the ball low and over the net. i tend to pop these up.
You are an amazing coach, and I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you! I have a quick question: I struggle to decide when to use a block volley versus a punch volley. I end up using the punch volley more often because I believe it keeps the players back. Do you have any thoughts on that?
Good job Webby....
I would love to take a lesson with Simone.
What dress is Simone wearing? Love these drills and love that dress!
Great explanation and examples of drills here. Anyone else get totally distracted by the kid in the background a few times? :)
DeadZergling my son is a piece of work. He actually enjoys seeing himself on the videos. Thinks he is hilarious
She is very good and a good teacher. These are not hard hits, I'd like to see this done with hard hits like found when playing bangers.
What is the drill he is doing on the other side of the fence?
WOW, that's very athletic and great hands! Great Drills Simone! Fairly new to pickleball (6 months) do you teach at a specific facility? Thanks
Vito Berlingeri we are at Bonita Springs YMCA. Our academy is Peak Performance Pickleball Academy

durdica mac sorry the other question. I think there will always be both present

Good drill, not easy at all.
