I have Alzheimer's and this version of the song brought me to tears. Magnificent heartfelt performance. Thank you.
My heart goes out to you. I'm taking care of my mom who is struggling with Alzheimer's. It's hard to witness. I can't phantom how hard it is first hand. I'll keep you and all who deal with it in my thoughts. 🫂

My beloved mum suffered from vascular dementia, and my ex-husband (we're still the best of friends) has been diagnosed with dementia, more specifically aphasia. This song makes me cry every time I listen to it no matter who sings it this song came out the year my grandad passed away and just after his funeral this came on the radio at his wake ans it made me cry as my grandad was the only father figure i ever had in my life my own morher didn't even want me but my nan ans grandad was always there for me so listening to you sing this beautiful song still makes me cry thank you for your beautiful voice xxx
