A married woman/man has a RIGHT to feel jealous and it doesn't have to always be because her husband is doing something. This world is a horrible moral-less place and you have the right to protect your marriage. period.
Her instincts were dead on too. He was always checking out other women. She even said she knew he wouldn’t cheat but there’s emotional/ mental cheating that ruins marriages
My husband and I were newly weds when their show started. We loved their show- never missed an episode. We had our baby girl the year they divorced. I’m a hopeless romantic and was crushed when they split. Now I totally get it and have respect for both of them in their new marriages. Love Nick and Vanessa together. They fit like puzzle pieces and show total mutual respect for each other.
Well now they both got divorced they both got remarried and they both have children that’s just life and Jessica seems way happier with her new husband so I’m happy for her

I'm not sure how they thought their two worlds would mesh after marriage. They had to have known there would be some major adjustments on both sides since their views on household behavior were polar opposites!
You can tell Jessica was totally in love with Nick she looks at him the entire time she talks about him. Nick doesn't look at her hardly at all, he's not as infatuated with her it's no surprise they didn't go the distance, both were young mostly spoiled and not ready to be grown ups in a marriage.
I wonder if had they lived together prior to getting married, they would have lasted? Maybe they had growing pains & they could have worked it out, or maybe they would have never made it to the alter, who knows. I feel like the first year I lived with my boyfriend was really hard, but we worked it out as time went on. And we didn't have cameras in our faces, so that helps. Hearing everyone's opinion would def be hard & I think Nick was embarrassed about some stuff... I recently rewatched the series on youtube & it quickly became evident Jessica's career took off, while Nick's faltered; he literally became "Mr. Jessica Simpson" before our eyes & they seemed to highlight it on the show. Jessica was always away working & Nick was always home busying himself with household chores, or visiting her wherever she was. And I'm sure it was a blow to his ego.
I do agree with Jessica it has to do how you’re raised. I was raised like nick but had both parents together and my husband was raised like Jessica lol

Reality was that nick was the insecure and jealous one while Jessica was genuinely naive and young and flying to the top at the same time. It didn’t work out but I truly don’t think it was either of their fault. Too young in a wild world. Both of them had so much growing up to do.
