I love Bob. From Mad fabricators to today. His podcast didn't really stay going like I had hoped, but the episodes are still on here. A real hero to us midwest hot rod guys. Go buy some merch from his online store. Thanks for this. He seems elusive online, so it's always a treat. ❤

Your personal rod is exactly the style I like most. Perfectly NOT overdone.

Growing up I always thought Bobby was the coolest! His dad literally saved my life. I had the privilege to live at the shop for a while. learned so much and am so grateful for having known them.

I love the headers that go up and come back down.

I was watching Mad Fabricators and commenting on how cool his roadster is, and how fkn bonkers the headers on it are, i was trying to remember if they were built by his dad and all that, and now hearing the whole story is so fkn cool, much much cooler than I remembered it from reading it on the HAMB some 15 years ago. Honestly speaking Bob Bleed is an amazing guy, and in an era such as this one, where kids seem to have list it, he truly is the role model they need 👍🏻🖤🏴‍☠️

Yes the headers were made from a guy named Russ Sax in the 60’s for Bobs dad.. thanks for the MFS support too! -Piero

First saw Bob through Mad Fabricators. But, growing up blue collar working class, the guys in our family only saw cars for their utilitarian value. It wasn't until I was older and the internet came along that I discovered what I was missing. It didn't take much for the bug to bite me. I'll be 64 this August.

Remember watching the guy on Austin Speed shop wandering whatever happened to him. Good stuff to get more background story from him.

It’s a custom mix he did about 20 years ago.. it’s actually more of a green silver :)
