Omg same thing, there has been A LOT of rain the lights went out for more than 4 hours in my house and I felt like if I was living in the middle ages lol.
Ayo here in my country it rain's everyday but here is a day Joi where it won't rain-
• Stand at the huge doors to the entrance of Eden and wave goodbye to everyone as they run through.
• Stand next to the seasonal spirits/daily spirits and wave to people as they pass through whichever door the Dailies are in.
(You can also be the player they may need to bow to, make a new acquaintance, etc)
• Stand in the ‘sneak stand’ on the other side of any door as players pass through it. You look kinda ghostlike and about to pounce on them.
• Repeatedly go to the Butterfly/8 People Room and help out there.

I believe it’s called ‘The 8-Player Puzzle’.
It’s located in The Daylight Prairie, in a mountain in The Village Islands (the one that looks like it has a volcano opening at the top of it, and a cave opening to the side of it).
But now I feel like I’ve made it that much more confusing.

One time when I first had the game I was playing around with the sit emote and discovered it can make you lie down. I did it and I’m suddenly burried underground (bc i was standing near a slope) stayed there for awhile and then a bunch of other players came chilling around the same spot. Unintentionally scared them off when I popped out of the ground.
I think of doing it again hehe

As someone who goes afk often in sky and just sits there for hours on end-.....ive probably come across some people who wanted to keep afk kids company like you and just don't realize it

Once when I was afk (actually I was trying to draw and play the game at the same time so I laid my character down and let them sleep lol) some other people set up a cute little Star lamp thing and laid near me, it was honestly really cute lol

A fun thing to do in Sky cotl is go to the ice rink in either valley or the village of dreams and skate and do jumps and also do emotes (while skating). It looks like you're figure skating.

Hey, try to farm candle in all 6 map (including seasonal area) without tp home, and dont skip any cutscene. I usually do that when I'm bored
Had someone mess with me while I was 'afk'. Funny thing is, I rarely actually afk- I just plop my character down and let them sit there while I work on other stuff.
So, someone started messing with my character, and I got to honk at them and surprise them. Didn't get up though, so they still placed a tea stand on top of me. That was certainly fun.

Saw some others talking about helping people in Eden... Once I went to that area around the stairs and pipes, then went down to where the krill knock you down. There's a spot where nothing can get you and it sounds nice enough - and then I was prepared when someone got hit by a krill to go give first aid!

When I'm bored, I wait at the entrance of the eye of eden for any new moths so I can help them out. It's a fun way for me to make connections.
When I finish candle running, I go repeat quests that you can do more than once.(season of assembly, season of performance, season of remembrance, season of flight) it's fun tbh.
Update: y'all, I discovered another idea! When grandma event is near, sit in front of the tree house... Make a shared space and act like you're a guard. Honk to get the attention of players, do random emotes, wave(I prefer lvl 5 or 6) to anyone that enters! Or play any instrument. Trust me, it's fun.
