If i have to choose between Safiyyah and Auguste, i'll choose Auguste because i will definitely pull for Homa, but i think i would not pull for anyone before i could secure 180 pulls for Homa, because currently im at 180 debut banner pity and 100 normal pity lol. atleast im just 40ish pulls away from 180
I’d argue saff is the much better pull long term. Auguste is kinda just a generic damage dealer who won’t really see use down the road. We’re probably also going to have taair soon so pulling is gonna be rough. Auguste is an awesome character though, so I totally get it.

The top cn players (top 10 in tower of adversity) suggest dropping auguste in favor of Tristan instead. Better dps overall and only needs 2-3 stars vs auguste's 5 stars
I might be wrong, but Tristan only being lightly better than Auguste seems to be a negative, considering if you disregard shard farming which is not an actual cost, Tristan requires specific positioning,timing and manual play and can only burst a single time, doing only slightly more damage than Auguste, meanwhile Auguste with support like cocoa will immediately do more net damage the moment his burst is up in 2-3 turns, on top of being bulkier and amazing at autoplay. In the context of boss stages and ToA, Tristan is def better.
Its still make F2P priority planning better pull Tristan because how close are Auguste banner to other Meta (Saffi, Taair and Homa) while Auguste banner come closer to Tristan banner and do similar job what Auguste do U can say Auguste have similar job to Rawiya Alt and Tristan Having all of them is amazing but F2P should skip Auguste if u want get all Meta rn that can't be replaced If u aren't Meta Slave, then just pull who u like (and I doubt people like him other than design alone since in Lore he's Bastard)

I mean there too much great T0 and they all kind of good on Town of Adversity but just incase the Summon goes wrong like if i only have enough Summon for 1 more Legendary after Saffiyah come home maybe i choose Homa (may consider skip Taair since I do had Ina+Cocoa) and hope i lucky enough to grab August but if luck not came then do Agatha is a worth option to try since there would be more time for Agatha because Hasna and Caris is not release yet that mean i do had like 1 more month to stock up Hope Lux?
The only angle in which she is a skip is for particularly well developed accounts with specific strategies in place looking to expand their options through getting alternative damage types like Agatha, or saving for broken units like Kvare/Taair.
I think you should be safe. if Auguste is next I would wait to see who is the banner after him though because if its taire then I would make sure you can guarantee Tair and only pull the the guarantee on Auguste. If its tair next then I would dump everything you have until you have him. If you do end up getting Auguste you will also want Homa who makes him even better

Union designs look way manly, and cooler. i dont like an easy game for a long run, since i'll be burnt out easily. the only good thing with Union atm are just Gloria and Simona, with no exact month for Auguste's banner. which somehow, kinda hurts too for not pulling any character in a long time. sigh... 2. i dont have magnus/nergal and nungal. so hard to accept the truth that Saffiyah is so synchronized with Nungal play (as the nuker and executor). kinda feel bad for me in pulling Saffiyah just because i have Dantalion, Edda, and SOC characters... 😞 if only i have Nungal, i wont confuse too much.. . sigh. 3. the contrary is, like 85% content creators/players recommend for having Saffiyah. but due to limited resource, i will somehow miss Auguste (lets say i'll waste my 115 pulls for Saffiyah banner). fk. i hate this confusion.
Two completely different units. Tristan is like Auguste. I have not completely gone through her kit but she will be much easier to build around than Acambe. Acambe has a core team to build around him. Acambe is the highest potential DPS in the game currently but its when the mutations are favorable to him. Tristan is so far in CN been a good unit for most mutations. But this is going of CN as I have not actually played any of tower of adversity yet. Saffiyah doesn't hit as hard as her kit let's on already pulled and maxed and she does baby dmg I've been running through the event beryl, Gloria, rawiyah, nungal and lilywill hit harder than her as a saffiyah haver I am very disappointed acambe does more dmg too
She takes more skill. she does not do face roll damage like Auguste. I have seen a couple comments like this so I may make a follow up video on using her properly. I am still getting the hang of her though as well.

I would not simply because of Tair being so close. I was just mentioning she does have some value later.

Yea, I would not advise skip but if someone is big on auguste and low, I think its a fair tradeoff. While not meta, it will work.

Game will not be easy even with Safiyyah. She just is viable in a lot of the mutations. It will still be quite hard.
