this is unironically the best gearing guide on youtube right now, I just started a 3-4* only alt for fun and a few of the tips were even surprisingly helpful there
I love the contrast between your very professional demeaner and your username. Genius! Thank you for the guide, it was very clear. I get dizzy sometimes trying to sort my gear box and deciding which ones to keep/reset/throw away so this helped!
Hahaha there is a time and place to be serious and when not to be, certainly if I am trying to get a point across, those are the rare times I have to get that suit on XD also, I'm glad the guide helped!
Such an amazing video and an even better guide with so much detail! I genuinely appreciate your time and efforts that you put in that doc. Thank you so much Fartsie~ You're awesome!!!! Can't wait for the mid-late game guide.
Great guide, Professor Pancakes! I've seen a lot of gear guides for E7, and fully agree with other commenters that have said this is one of the good ones. Recommend!
I was so f-ing lost on what made a piece of gear worth rolling; but after watching your guide i have a better idea of what that is now. I'll definitely be using your charts as reference. As an epic seven newbie, thank you very much for you're banger of a guide.
The 'i'm not wearing pants' comment definitely caught me offguard 😂 but kudos to you for taking the time and effort to do this ! wish i had a mentor when i started years ago 😅
I wouldnt be where I am now had it not been for my mentors, and I knew that there were many others that needed help too, so I needed to pass the knowledge on XD
Thank you so much, Im playing this game like a little over a month now. Im done with all main story content now trying to focus on gear farming and building core units to make my hero pool more diverse. Looked for other beginner gear guides especially speedcheck but it is so hard and complicated to fully grasp because they also stress on keeping track on min max spd roll which is going to be hard for beginner with less gear to even work on. Not to mention to calculate a threshold to hit desired speed+ reforge even if the rolls did hit spd sub. It is going to take a lot of time and hard for me to even slap a placeholder gear on my unit if Im that picky. Fortunately, your guide for beginner is just to focus on rolling the purple and red gear with the exception of can only miss one spd substat on red gear which makes it way easier to follow. Not going to focus on cleave team comp for one month old account. But it is universally good for any unit to have decent speed to turn cycle and do their job. I'll try to enhance the other non spd sub gear with 27 initial gear score for the left side and 26 right side, hoping that each roll will at least give me +10 equipment score so that at +15 I will get 77 right side and 76 left side until I know what Im really doing to min max.
thats a lot of standards for a new account, but its good to know what you're looking for. since you're starting out and still trying to get some starter gear, be more forgiving to at least have some usable gear to get by with (dont have to reforge) until you get your upgrades, because you need units to at least have something on them even if its not the best gear right away
i have two discord servers, my e7 community server is found at the bottom of the provided google doc, and my general community channel can be found going to my twitch chat and using !discord command
We need more content creators like yourself and I'm_Tsu who provide infographs along with their explanations and dont babble nonsensical jargon and terms that new players, returners, casuals, or f2p dolphins won't understand very well. Thank you. The folks in the official E7 discord can do a lot better by learning from this. And they need better speakers who dont sound like they are underwater speaking into a mic.
I recently got back into the game after not playing since probably 2019 and coming back a short bit for the re:zero collab… Thanks for clarifying some things im confused about especially the fact i couldn’t roll defense on my counterattack weapon on ravi no matter how hard i tried (because earlier i also made the mistake of not realizing that ravi always crits when lands the attack which was never the case when i played and had to regear her LOL)
@@joshuat3970 LMAO ngl it kinda did feel like I was doing some kinda class presentation cuz i couldnt think of any other way to do this than with a powerpoint 🤣🤣
This concept vid is great bro, just I feel like this can only do so much. Yes I can always ask "hey how do you build this unit" but then get told "did you not watch my vids!?" (or get ignored for asking) to me would kinda defeat the purpose of watching the vid and it would make me not want to play E7. What I'm trying to get at here is the main question "how do you build this unit" because new units come out all the time and what if new players watch this vid then ask that question and still dont know what to do. This can all be shortcut if FP goes " well, heres the new unit and here is what I think is the best gear for this unit or you can put this gear if you're trying this route and heres what the stats should look like". If I just looked at that vid explaining that and then seeing the results while knowing the concept of this vid then it would motivate me to get on E7 get the unit and build the unit with the information given rather than be like "well, I just watched the gear fundamentals vid and idk how to build this new unit that just came out cus im not sure how to build it". Not tryna say I learned nothing from watching this vid, just would be nice if I can and/or new players get the question "how do I build this unit" answered the quickest way so we can build and play with those units asap. YDCB for example, new unit comes out, he gets it, shows what he thinks the best gear and stats and explains the unit and shows off the unit and hopes you enjoy the information given which then motivates me to get on E7 get the new unit and build the new unit and have fun with said unit.
banshee should be the first hunt you do imo, crit dmg set is pretty integral for pve activities. 90% of the time speed main stat boots are all you need in pve when it comes to speed
that's fair and valid reasoning. banshee can definitely be farmed first over wyvern. Builds and gear optimization is purely subjective and should be tailored to suit the account holder's needs. I generally recommend wyvern as the first thing to be farmed because of how universal speed set can be (as I mentioned already) and it makes the transition a lot easier into mid and late game when you can have units built for other purposes and not strictly just to PVE
can you please review my account i just came back to the game after a year or so because i cant play due to basically poverty and its overwhelming to say the least

Very timely. We just got a new recruit asking about gear he rolled
