    Really glad you showed these off! When I first saw the base and LEDs I was thinking about getting them, but you’ve sold me on it now for sure!

  • @Fiery25123
    @Fiery25123 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    The way they work is simple. The base creates an electromagnetic field, and the copper wire around the LEDs converts that into electricity for the lights.
    It's not MUCH, but since LEDs are super power efficient, it works.

      30MM kits are good for builders that likes make customs or kitbash it with other series/manufacturer kits that also uses 30mm hole/pegs.
      I also recommend it for people who wanted to start getting into building gunpla too (lot of articulation, easy manual, runners are laid out systematically, simple assembly, cheaper and more readily available)
      For straight builders though, I'll just say don't expect a lot of parts colour seperation and stickers that one would expect from an HG/EG kit.

    • @XaadeTheBlade

      Pink is just bright red. So it only matters in context with darker shades.
      Put a white led next to a red one in an interior and pipe the light out and it would look "pink".
      Or you could have a white one, and take some pink filter plastic over it.

    • @Fiery25123
      @Fiery25123 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not even a little bit. LEDs like this can barely melt butter. Maybe.

    • @XaadeTheBlade
      @XaadeTheBlade 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      LEDs themselves don't. The conversion to power the LEDs use is usually what gets hot. So like a household LED bulb, it's the ballast, or the part closest to the screw in part that gets hot.
      Since these are small isolated LEDs, they should get not hot.

    • @irtwiaos
      @irtwiaos 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Review high-school physics. The powered coil produces an magnetic field with the right hand rule. When you put the led inside the field, the coil that connects to the led generates an electric field and current that powers the led wirelessly. Pretty the same idea as wireless phone chargers.
