Happy to "revive" the game with this expansion! 😅 The more you talked, the more it felt like the "campaign" elements they added in the base game: more things you can incrementally add to spice up the game... This could have been called "Revive campaign part 2"! Question: does it all fit in the base game box?
Becoming a big fan of revive. Have only had the chance to play it 3 times but definitely want to explore if more. Happy to hear this isn’t an essential expansion so I won’t need to rush and grab it but I hope I get to the point where I’ve played enough to add more
Thanks for the review! I think based on what you guys said I'll get it eventually but definitely no rush. To me I see Expansions as either being essential at which point I'll definitely buy it or just bloat. A simple yes no basically. I consider Dune Imperium: Rise of Ix essential but Immortality which was sold to me as being essential I feel is just bloat. Aside from that, like you, I find myself rarely using expansion packs. The modern hobbyist has such a full shelf that you don't' come back to the core game frequently enough to really justify expanding it :(
I am over the moon excited for this expansion! But then Revive is my favourite game of all time and approaching my most played game of all time in just a year. So will you guys be coming to Essen? Would love the chance to meet you.

Thanks for the good review... We started playing the base game last week and thought some of the tribes are a bit overpowered like formica. For some tribes like the heimstadair the tribemainskill you have to wait a lot of time until the skill gets usefull... Have you experienced this in your plays?
Bounced off Revive because we felt it was not very engaging. It was especially the card play. The cards were quite boring overall, no big moments with unexpected card effects. Not sure anything about that changes here
I don’t think this will change any of those feelings with the expansion! I love every turn I have in Revive, and I have fun every minute I play, but we are luckily all different :)
Sadly our studio table isn’t big enough! Still hoping to make something work to get a bigger table and mount the camera higher, but we haven’t had time to fix it yet because of this boring thing called «real life» 😅

Yes, I got everything in the box! Wasn’t a big problem :)
I actually purchased the Folded Space insert and they said that it will hold all the expansion content with only a few millimetres of lid lift
