My favorite series is (and has always been) 'The Inheritance Cycle,' and I've love love loved rereading it as often as I can since the first time I picked it up as a teenager. If I had to pick one, I would say Inheritance is my favorite book of the series, but that's hard for me to decide since they're all great-- honestly, I'm just saying it's my favorite cause it has my favorite dragon on the cover!!!
I do love Christopher Paolini's writing style and I WISH they would have done his book Eragon more justice when they made it into a film. I just finished his latest book Murtaugh based on what happens after the fall of G (no spoilers)

I especially loved "The perfect nightmare" as well as "The homing" that one actually brought back a childhood fear I had forgotten I had, followed by a month worth of nightmares😅 And I just could NOT mention John Saul without mentioning The Manhattan Hunt Club. I used to work for Amtrak and over the years I have collected quite a few rusty railroad spikes. I was at a book signing (for a different book) and I got John Saul to autograph one of my railroad spikes! He said it was the most unique item anyone has ever asked him to sign but it makes sense if you read the book 😘
