It's almost like jack understands the sidemen better then sidemen themselves. They can do massive videos but the reason why their mukbang or their first 100$ idea worked so well was because it felt real. It felt local, it felt warm. That's what made them
I'm pretty sure the Sidemen understand that themselves. They wouldn't do those kind of videos if they didn't understand that.
No mate, the sidemen definitely know what they’re doing. Their videos are great because it’s calm relatable and they can literally talk about ANYTHING. Heck, they were even talking about Giraffes and lions and even then it was entertaining.
I just remembered something. Go watch Vikkstar on the Watchtime Podcast with Muselk and his sister. There he talks about their chemistry and that their videos work like they do because they are all friends. He even explained why Sidemen Sunday improved.
True they are just friends making videos it's not a job to them they are just hanging out with eachother.

I always feel like Stephen doesn’t get enough credit, but Jack (a massive comedian) really appreciates him. It’s great to see!

i feel like a lot of celebrities starting TH-cam have a big advantage in regards to producing a video(camera crew, editing team), but the consistency of making (good)content is something a non-celebrity youtuber has a advantage. Most celebrities just start youtube to give a view on their lives pretty much. Will smith is probably the only exception who understood a bit with what TH-cam really is and is capable of doing (original) content.

I find it a really interesting take that TH-camr's like Stephen Tries and definitely Jack himself have said that stand-up is a goal of theirs etc, and they almost idolize people in the industry like Jack Whitehall and he comes on and says the opposite; that he realizes the immense effort that goes into TH-cam and almost saying it's something himself he has to actually put huge effort into to reap the rewards. Really puts into perspective that although the genre of comedy may be the same, both are their own different ball games with different players!

The benchmark of comedy will always be stand up because its the purest form. Just a person and a mic. No production, edits etc. A lot of YT views are based on clickbait, certain thumbnails and trends that interest 8-12 year olds.
Jack is saying being big on YT obviously takes certain skills which it does but he is also trying to grow his channel so of course he's going to talk up the platform and the big names on it.
Let's not pretend that the Sidemen could do stand up but there's lots of standups that get millions of views.

Jack is a top guy, big fan of his TV series with his dad. I think he's lying about filming near a school with the Sidemen though. Pretty sure the old bill would come and arrest him when his ankle monitor starts going off.

I love they secured the bag, but is there any way to WATCH the full podcast? I’m not a user of Spotify but I got the app and it appears to be just audio on there. I can’t just sit and listen to a podcast, I need visuals. Body language makes a huge difference to how you interpret what you are hearing.
There's no way to actually watch it now except for the clips unfortunately. If you want the full thing you have to listen to the audio
