I think this will be my first Dacia ever. No more premium cars, i m done with. Big question- which engine, I prefer 4x4 but not convinced by the engine, it seems to be too light
they are likely to offer a larger engine if the public requires it and they are confident it will sell. Dacia have always listened to the public in this regard and have offered higher power versions in multiple models at some point, starting with the first gen Logan and including the 150 hp Duster 2. They are generally very good at listening to what people like and dislike about their product. I remember they were being shamed in the mid 00s for placing the electric window switches on the central console, similarly to the BMW e46 of the era, which people turned a blind eye on due to the badge, i suspect. Then they moved the buttons on the doors in the facelifted model. Same with the diesel which was not that big in eastern europe around the time Dacia was being reborn. But the public was willing to pay for it so they delivered. Problem is they are up against stupid EU fines for not meeting the increasingly stringent emissions average across their fleet. So those big engines will come at the right time and only if they make sense from a corporate pov as well. As a sidenote, they don't offer a diesel in any of their models in Europe anymore. But Moldova and Turkey and other non-EU markets get new diesle Dusters and Joggers, no problem. Right now i think they need that hybrid version to sell a lot so they can offer a bigger engine alongside it. They would give a v8 if they could.. EU just has to ruin it for everyone.
My comment when the concept came out was you build it...will buy it. Im not buying this. Golden opportunity to storm the world stage missed. I get they have to tame things a little but...very sad. The original was a beast 💪
The 4x4 version needs a fully Auto gearbox with full LED lights and mebe a bigger engine it would be a game changer the old bulbs a in the past start as you mean to go on
At what point does it loose pretty good 4x4 offroad capabilities? Landrover Rangerover have almost lost theirs at 5x the price. Mind you having just found that adblu diesel additive on my Duster freezes at minus 10 doesnt amuse me where we often get that here in the Highlands of Scotland! Hereabouts
Also really considering to buy one, beautiful car! Since we already have a Duster 4x4 with trailer hook (one yr old), I'd choose the hybrid. I'm curious about the comfort on the backseat compared to c class suv with independent rear suspension.
Don´t like that they cut the wide stance on in from concept to prod model. It stopped being a beast that visually competes with an AUDI Q7 to just "a car". This was Renaults decision probably.
Recently when driving a citroen c3 picasso drove out of a parking bay into side of moving RangeRover. Scratches to my paintwork and peeled back door panel on RangeRover. Cars are designed to disintegrate in accident whilst protecting passengers inside
A 1.8 liter 4x4 variant without any hybridization would've been the HOLY GRAIL !
Indeed 💪
they want to keep such features to renault.
Just preordered my Bigster. My first Dacia. Roll on April.
Will be my first dacia full option do not disappoint me dacia.
A 4 clilinders with gpl and 4x4 would be fantastic
What is gpl ?
@@Ahelot, LPG.
We might see it next year.

thousands of people share this opinion. i want the 4x4 but it needs a better engine.
Then you should wait until next year after July, we might see a better engine option for the 4x4 variant
@@DusterCoolTravels that is very good news! more information please ?

Bigster Journey Hybrid 155, but it's FWD, not 4x4. Do you really need 4x4 though?
That rear bumper looks GREAT!
Too long, I don’t like it 👀😅
The coolest Dacia ever made, along with the new 2024 Dacia Duster.
Well Done DC BIGSTER 👍
Nice!

The original was unrealistically wide, as all Dacia's are built on a supermini platform, and that limits the dimensions of the car.
@sebastianstoica578 I think they backed out.
@@sparky6996, nah, they knew this from the get go. The Bigster was developed in parallel with the Duster.

At over 70 km/h a direct colision can be fatal in any car.

Most likely Renault. So they can use as much Duster parts as possible
Rear door handles aren"t ok. It would be much better with usual ones
It s ok with those as well. After a few weeks you get used to it
Looks cool ... but for the name??? Duster, Jogger ... are ok names. But "Bigster"??? Sound really silly. :(
Sounds ok to me. What name would you choose?😄
giant.
Looks tough, but with Dacia's poor crash results history, may well disintegrate if it hits a paper bag.
Yeah thats why you need to crash with a car. How about do not crash.
For the people in the car Duster got 4*. The final 3* its because of the external sensors.

Much more beatiful than the ugly VW Tiguan
3 Cilinders is not a good idea for 4x4. I am not going to buy a 3 cilinders car¡ Never¡
You might buy one if all would have 3 cylinders 👀😅
