  • Archaeology and Jesus Episode 3: The Olive Press of Death
Go deep underground to see the fulfillment of the last prophecy of Jesus while exploring the city that “didn’t exist.”
“No place on earth has arrested the attention of adventurers and archaeologists like the Holy Land. But does what we dig up in Israel bear resemblance to the stories that we read about Jesus in the Gospels? To answer this question, Archaeology & Jesus follows two paths. You’ll explore the process of archaeology with the top experts digging in Israel today. And along the way you’ll join New Testament scholar Dr. Craig Evans as he reveals groundbreaking finds that illuminate the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.”

Our Heavenly Father said everyone put the 🍎 s back in the basket of rebellious angels he called false gods in his commandments. Christ taught his disciples repentance and ask of Our Heavenly Father for forgiveness.
Christ taught his disciples how to pray in secret because of those rebellious angels and Christ told them in the closet with the door closed and ask of Our Heavenly Father written in the Old Testament and the Lambs Book 📖 of life.

I bristle at the idea that Jesus and the disciples were poor… God would not have Jesus pick men who had nothing to lose. Jesus did not come from a poor carpenter father. Mary and Joseph wouldn’t have had 4-6 children if they were poor. Joseph was a Tekton , not a carpenter; a man of high skill. 😎✝️✡️

You should read the Bible and then the early Church fathers, and study Hebrew traditions in the 1st Century. What people call poor today is just lack of comprehension. Wealth is not currency, but what currency can buy. Joseph and Mary had everything they needed, because they could mostly provide it for themselves, and yes, they were skilled. Mary is often portrayed with a spindle. I am a hobby spinner. Textiles were treasure before the industrial revolution. The Orthodox Church holds that the word brothers is a mistranslation. Mary would be unlikely to have sexual relations after giving birth to the Messiah by immaculate conception. It was the Jewish tradition to forego fleshly pleasures if the person had a spiritual experience. They were Jesus' cousins, not siblings. Pay no heed to the heresies spread by papal protestants and other protestants. If you want to know about Christianity, ask an Orthodox priest.
