I laughed when you said Palmdale. I live there. It's an "interesting" place. I had to photograph a house for sale in West Palmdale and when I walked into their outdoor room it was Tiki heaven. I couldn't believe it was here in Palmdale.
If you haven't driven one, you don't know how dangerous and uncomfortable they can be. Haha... It was my daily driver for several years. I DO still love the body style though!
Amazing find ! SJCapistrano here. If only I had the determination to travel far for furniture. I find the greatest pieces, on the east coast and in the Midwest. Hang loose 🤙
In appreciation for your memorable moment at 07:30 in "The Hunt...", may I direct your attention to The Video Cellar (TH-cam) for a clean print of "Monsoon" ( "The Isle of Forgotten Sins" ), featuring the romantic pairing of John Carradine and Gale Sondergaard. 1943 was a good year for this vintage...
Driving that distance in a 1961 Econoline in searing heat gives new meaning to the expression "...going full Tiki." Your mechanical genius is worthy of employment in a garage in Havana, Cuba!
I have been binge eat your videos and on this particular one right at around 12:00 mark where you state I guess the story that goes with this tiki you can see smoke rise up from the bar kind of creepy! Unless you have something emitting smoke or a vapor this is creepy!
Hey man love the videos, glad to see how the breezeway has evolved over the years!! You've motivated me to start my own tiki area and I would love to be able to add that huge blue light you have at the like 1:07-1:15ish mark. If you don't mind me asking What is the name/design of the light so I can work on locating one? Thanks again man keep up the good work!!!
lol yea LA traffic big reason why I moved to central cal love your vlog and tiki stuff I'm a fan of your band Iv played drums for about 20 years now I play rockabilly serf and swing
That was actually a song that my roommate and I recorded at my house. My band is (coincidentally) going into the studio to record it on Tuesday for real!
Great tiki bar but the ride home was entirely unsafe and illegal. You are so lucky not to have had an accident or a very costly ticket, but I'm glad you made it after all.
So many amazing pieces in your bar
That is a beautiful piece dude!

Great video, great education, great road trip. Thanks for sharing.
You are so cute. Look just like Adam Sandler! Thanks for the road trip. This old California girl appreciated it.
That’s a gorgeous truck 🛻❤️🤘🤙
Thanks for the peek into your splendor!
Pretty wild how expensive those tiki books are now. Years of rising popularity and no reprinting will do that.
I'm incredibly envious of your Polynesian Pop home interior. And Sven Kristen is a king among men!
If I ever found a bar like that, I would never sleep again from excitement!
Sweet find! Great video. Cheers.
That bar is amazing! I started collecting 'tiki' when I wrote the Treasure Craft Pottery book
Amazing!
Well done and very funny !! Cheers fellas !!

KVON 432k thanks! Yeah, the Econoline wasn't meant for long hauls... 😣
The Hula Girls hahahha I know the feeling. Made a few bonehead trips on three wheels myself!

You poor little thing stuck driving a 61 econo p-up hahaha. Sweet!!!

Fun video! Thanks for sharing!
"by the way you can buy this T shirt...." Priceless.
Mike Cheeseman 😂
I’m freaking obsessed. I’m redoing my vintage trailer right now. Tiki crazed!

Just started my Tiki bar and decorating it! Where can I find those cool vintage resin lamps you have? Can’t find them anywhere.
I made those myself

Thanks! I recorded that with a buddy about 6 years ago. IT's called "Tum Tiki" I'm hoping to put it on the next Hula Girls' record.
what is that head liner.. some kind of fur or something.. thats wild man..
What song is that in the beginning? So cool
That was actually a song that my roommate and I recorded at my house. My band is (coincidentally) going into the studio to record it on Tuesday for real!
It's called "Tum Tiki"
@@BreezewayCocktailHoursuch a good song, I was going through your Spotify like a madman looking for it
What is the name of the song in the beginning? Love it.
It’s called, the Riddle of Steel, by Thulsa and the Doom Boys.
@@ItsJustJerFromJersey Did you contemplate this on the Tree of Woe?
No,..it's The Enchanters. The song is called Tum Tiki. on Tom Tom records, from 1963. This is a weak cover, whoever it is.
@@marcatkinson5187 Thanks for the name, been searching for quite a while for it.
@@Gharzul tune in to my radio show for more... Wednesday nights 8pm on www.radiocore.org
On a side note: I drive my 1966 Mustang without air conditioning in Palmdale. Not fun for a beach guy like me.
How did you get the puffer fish in the glass ball
I bought it that way. I think they get the puffer wet.
How about some Hula Girls videos? I've seen everyone of them out there. How about posting a full show?
Great tiki bar but the ride home was entirely unsafe and illegal. You are so lucky not to have had an accident or a very costly ticket, but I'm glad you made it after all.
Whatcha smoking there @ 12:03?
How much was the bar?
Chest Rockwell I only paid $250 for it.
wow. Let me know if you wanna sell it ever. Been looking for one of my own.
Chest Rockwell I don't ever plan on selling it. They're out there! Just keep looking!
