Don’t take this the wrong way brother. Been watching your videos, I keep asking myself why don’t you put your truck together? It would make for much better content. I’m also an ironworker. Have been for 10 years. I also have a welding truck. Idk about you but I has a blast setting up my truck.
No worries, I do understand the reasoning for your question. Being completely honest here, I no experience or expertise on working with auto body stuff. For the electrical, I can rewire antique steam engine lamps, but I have no idea how to hook up light bars or those lights on a vehicle. I also have no idea on what the requirements are for bolting down a welding machine. I don't know if it needs to be attached to the chassis or structural members of the truck, or what it needs. I am just being honest as I have been in the vlogs. Once I see how it is done properly by professionals in that field and gain more knowledge of how these items are put on a truck, then the next welding rig I put together I can do myself.
@ Will do boss! The rig should be done next week. Then it is just finishing up buying some things and testing all of the processes of the machine before taking the rig to the field. No, I haven’t worked out of Local 433 in years. I have just been an independent welder going to job sites of contacts I know. For the welding rig, I created my own corporation, so I can be subcontracted by other companies to work on sites or be called out to any site. This way there is no one above me and I have complete control of when and where I work. It was great just being independent, but this will be better yet!

@ keep keeping on brother. So what’s your plan? Are you still working out of your local, or do you plan to go completely on your own
