THANK YOU all so much for season 2024, mixed year for me personally but always grateful to see people take their time out of their day to watch some red head from Manly talk about the sport he loves! Keen for 2025... and some Test match rugby league 👀
From an Eels fan living out west in Panthers territory, the 4 peat was well deserved, from their first in 21, and with the calibre of players that have left over the last couple of seasons, it has been impressive to see, and watch the region get reight behind them...glad to see the sport is alive and flourishing, was a great season, and bring on 2025!!!! Thanks for the video, following a great GF!!!!
storm just felt so bottled in for the whole night. why did storm not attack alamonti when he had to move to the wing? what a win from penrith well deserved
Gg penrith still not a fan lol never forgive you for costing the mighty raiders another title in 91 but damn you guys are simply the best at this point and maybe for a while
Storm lucky it wasn't 20 nil, proven right about my claim they were false form and the chatter around best team all year was bogus. Again round 24 18 of their 24 pts scored were sketchy, I wasn't impressed at all, that was storm best without our starting second rowers, 1 being the clive churchill medal winner. Only won that game by 2, took 70 odd minutes to get infront, nath off final 15, people should've seen this result coming.
Can a panthers fan who has watched all 4 of the grand finals pls tell me which team in a grand final has actually had you worried you guys weren’t gonna win? Cus as a dragon fan (a natural fan in grand finals) I thought maybe the bunnies or the broncos
If this was any other team on the night it would have been 40-50 put on them . Hold your head high Melbourne and I’m sure we will see you again next year in the GF.
True but still...Melbourne were supposed to win and beat a injured and battered Penrith. Not only did they lose but they didn't show up...for a Grand Final FFS... Paps, munster, Hughes were all AWOL. Grant is a beast 💪🏻 but he can't win the game by himself! Panther's 5PEAT will NOT Surprise me...at only 20 years Alamoti is gonna be a SUPERSTAR.
They are the best team of the modern era. And now they are up there with only two other teams to win more than three in a row, which is the Souths side of the 1920s and St. George's 11 in a row. For me, the St. George side that won 11 in a row will always be the best, they set records which this Penrith team cannot break. If Penrith can keep winning each year until 2032 then I might change my mind.
@@paddyg People bring up the no salary cap thing but if it were so easy back then, wouldn't there be more teams winning multiple premierships in a row?. You had Souths in the 20s that won five in a row, and St. George, nobody else got close. I just think with that Saints team, to have that desire every year to want to win it, you'd think after winning six or seven in a row they would get bored, not them. The most points they ever conceded in a grand final during them eleven years was 12. Twice they kept the opposition scoreless.
Or you could be St. Helens that have already done it aswell as won a few challenge cups and World Club Champions in that 4 years too. "Penrith will be able to declare at half time"
@@paddyg No Of course Not is that why the trophy has modern salary cap players on the trophy. Oh my bad that's Provan - Summons on the trophy. Guess they need to get rid of that too.
@@paddygEXACTLY 💯 Today's Penrith Panther's line-up would literally Rape that Dragon's team... especially if they still had Kikau, Koroisau, Burton, Crichton, Luai, Fish, Turuva.🏆

Thanks mate, hopefully eels can bounce back
If another win -2025, the fifth winner in the row. It will only mean that the coach is the nrl world best ever !
All maintained their discipline with no one sin binned
A sign of how good these teams are
That was one of the best grand final we’ve ever seen
I wouldn’t put this above the 2015 grand final
2015,2023
Hell no
More like one of the worst only behind 2019
@@jacobjgleggy1854 I wouldn’t say it was the worst it was above average 2017 was probably the worst imo
storm just felt so bottled in for the whole night. why did storm not attack alamonti when he had to move to the wing? what a win from penrith well deserved
That's just cause they created no momentum due to the dominance of Penrith in the middle
4 peat champions
🏆🏆🏆🏆
Penrith are still young team 5 peat is not very far..

Unlucky it wasn't a calm before the storm

Most people tipped Melbourne this year
Broncos win was the most thrilling but beating Storm was most satisfying because Panthers were the underdog
Ok Penrith, that's enough now.
Give someone else a go aye 😉
(Has anyone seen Pappy yet?)
Poor Papi 😢

4:11 🤣🤣 ...the Penrith Panthers 4P lol

Disagree my bro, Dragons had no salary cap in a comp with 12 teams. Maybe it's wrong of me to compare eras but this Penrith team IMO is miles ahead

Dragons 11 in a row still better
Yes they were. Penrith are now the best in the NRL era.
Yeah Better than St George 1956 to 1966 Sure they are 11 Pete to 4 Pete.
They played against 12 teams as part-timers in a comp where they had no salary cap, it's a great achievement but it's not comparable
