Don't know what EELS SUPPORTERS you're talking to bruv... But I hate the fact our board has approved this, One of my all time Favorite players, I followed EELS because of Hayne, I stayed because off GUTHO and now what ?, The true supporters are mad like me bro, He bled' for us and look what we do to him, I'm devastated.

True supporters are sad, but realistic about this being best for Gutho. There's no way he was going to stay and not play 1. He'll always be remembered well. I follow the Eels because they've been my NRL team since NSWRL days, through all the downs. Here's looking up.

He was willing to play ANYWHERE for the sake of the team that's what you call a true Hero, He still has so much to give just don't know why we would ever think of even letting him go. Gutherson x Lomax in the Centre's, Tell Penisini to get in shape and jump on the Wing try and replicate the To'o success Wingers don't even need to be fast anymore just get them to the 10' and they can do the rest think smarter not harder.
      1. Iongi - Young superstar Talent
      2. Simonsson - Veteran W/ Speed
      3. Gutrherson (C)
      4. Lomax - X Factor Signing
      5. Penisini - Replicate The " To'o " Success
      6. Brown
      7. Moses
Is what my BACK would look like If it we're me..

@@InsaneTriller93_ Clint will do well out of this move. It works out best for both parties. We would be insane to hang onto him and play him elsewhere, because deep down he wants to play 1. Like the dragons using Hunt at 9.

@@PoweredbyRobots Facts, Tbh.. I would rather him GONE , Don't hang around us just holding him back at this point honestly hope where ever he lands they really value him more than we did , he deserves it man. It's like when we had Jamie Lyon its almost like he saw the future LOL, He knew we we're going to be ass and get nowhere so he went Mnaly lol, But the thing with Lyon is he did it early.

Thanks for saying what you said about Gutho. His tenacity is what drew me to Parra in the first place.
Any Parra fan that put shit on him should be ashamed of themselves. And the hierarchy there are F-wits.
He tried his guts out every game. And he made a few bludgers in the team look better than they actually were.
And considering the injuries he's been carrying this year he should have got a lot more consideration.
Whichever team he lands at I'll be following him.

Must be something underlying with the May family that we don’t know about. Why else would they let go such a good up and coming player?

If Ben Hunt has left the Dragons because he wants to win a premiership, he really needs to get on his hands and knees and beg Ivan Cleary for a job, otherwise it ain't happening Ben 😮

League is an okay sport. And the NRL is an okay comp. But let's be honest, league is a big fish in the Pacific pond. But everywhere else union is king. Most of the NRL's "athletes" would struggle in the French Top 14 or URC.

Respectfully mate, if Australia didn't have the NRL or rugby league then the Wallabies would be more dominant then the all blacks or springboks ever have been, just look at how nearly every NRL to Union convert has become a key part of their international team.

@@paddyg It's not that simple...mate. Australians seem to believe that league players are the pinnacle of athleticism. If that's true, put your money where your mouths are - play against union nations and see how well you do.
You see, when Larkham and Gregan won the world cup in 99, union was still coming out of amateurism. But it's totally different now. And it's not just the All Blacks and South Africa these days. There's Ireland, France, Scotland, Italy, Fiji, England, etc.
But let's focus on South Africa, which currently serves as the main talent pipeline to other nations. The country is currently producing the kinds of players that Australia can only dream of. I'm talking about real athletes. Just look up Jorenzo Julius, for example.
And that's not all, the fastest union wingers are way faster than league wingers. And generally=-speaking, union has the faster backs. Maybe not in Australia - but definitely everywhere else. And don't forget, since union is being played all over the world, the talent pool is just so much bigger. so get off your high horse, and stop deluding yourself.
