"The Patch"

For two weeks in April, the students at Pascack Valley High School participated in the New Jersey 10-Day Film Challenge. On Day 1, the prompt is released by the organizers, and students all over the state have 10 school days to write, shoot and edit a 3-4 minute film based on the prompt. Here is one example made by Mr. Shermans Advanced Television Broadcasting (PVTV) class.
This year's prompt:
Character: Sam Derbish
Line: Well, well, well, what do we have here?
Prop: Cardboard Box
Backstory: The character is an ultimate pessimist or an ultimate optimist.
Optional Cinematic Technique: Digestic Music (Music the characters in the film can hear)
