What a day it's been for rust building, I've seen 3 videos about this just today and boy am I ready for base builds with it
Base idea, a floor stacked bunker base built after that super compact 2X1 you did a while back, still my go to when I'm panicking
I've tried other methods but they were too inaccurate or complicated. Definitely going to use this one for a future build 😉
If you get the triangle foundation to flicker between the left, right and centre placement options, I found it to place much more consistently, otherwise the floor stack ring will twist ever so slightly left or right and will interfere with certain wall placements. awesome video, i tried to do this floorstack method for 45min on a build server cause i saw it in another video of a base i wanna build but the dude didnt explain it so it only worked like 2% of the time after i watched this video i got it instantly 3times in a row

Finally! This is what i have been looking for! Thank you for the information! Very helpful for a new Rust player with some experience in precise building in Ark: Survival Evolved and Conan Exiles, this will definatly come in handy.

This still works as of this day. i am currently using it for a circle base and i love it. especially early raid reactions are funny 😅... but i gotta say rebuilding after a raid is hard ... need more experience
I don't know if this has been patched, but it really hard to use this now with anything other than on the ground or very slightly raised before it goes red. Maybe a 2023 update video?

This method is a very good one if you want to build it after you done parte of the base. If you wanna do the floor from the begining nefore building starter the easier way is with a small box on a ramp.
Still works, and on console as of October 2023.
I was trying this to get my floorstack for a 3x3 inside a 4x4 with half gaps and I really struggled getting it precise enough even with this method.

Super cool trick... But can't you place a small box or another deployable on that foundation to help with the W and S trick, that part is a bit to subjective and hard to do on a live server with people shooting at you.
Just tested it and the small box does help with the placement as you won't slide completely off the low walls. Great idea!
im always stacking my bases and never got offlined doing that.... most of the time ppl dont have enough boom to raid your 2 HQM roofs the bunker and the rest of the protection you have on ur base :D still if someone wanna raid you badly and they have enough ppl they can always farm the rockets to do so
So when you move back and it turns blue you place it. But is that new triangle covered under the same tc as the one your standing on?

Has anyone figured out a way to replace garage doors on a floorstack base?
Do a lowered stack then you don't have that issue

Anyone know why I can place doors frames walls etc from the floor below, on my floorstacked base, with no issues on build servers but when I build on an actual live server I can still place frames and walls but NOT the doors?? I know rust was patched a while ago to stop doors being placed in this manner but every build server I try allows me to replace doors so I assumed it was viable again?? If it is still patched to not allow you to replace doors like this how come I can do it without issue on build servers? Any helpful ideas as to what the F is going on??
build server glitch. You should floorstack with a lower foundation.
How did you do the triple layer? Can't seem to figure it out. Do you do a low stack then a high stack?
High stack on one side, low stack on the opposite. It's very tricky though. Both sides need 100% accuracy.

Every time, somewhere it didn't want to put a foundation or a wall on top of it.
@@CrowRust OK. I found issue. It's not like with THE GOD-BUNKER (offset). If you have the start of the offset on the foundation on a slant from the entrance. In that case you must start with a triangular foundation at that offset.
Nothing to do with offsets. Just need perfect placement.
After it clips to another foundation on console it won't reappear without resetting my position back to square 1.
Makes it extremely hard to place correctly as I can't walk forward after clipping and have to place walking backwards.
I was able to get it but it is so hard and inconsistent idk if there's a trick or what

Could you try and make a console friendly base? Not to big but can withstand an duo and maybe even a trio.
Sorry, I'm not sure what's possible on console. I'm sure they'll update it soon anyway.
@@CrowRust The next BP wipe will be thursday and there might come an update for console. But as far what we have is just no triangle roofs, traingle ladder hatches, ramps. Just old rust.

Yes it's possible. But wallstacking is much more useful.
