The space/sci-fi western is a niche genre that has always struggled to resonate in the hearts of most people (just ask Firefly). But it does have fans and we are loyal to the subject matter... All 33 of us.
I lost my passion for playing this game because 1. Most clothes have the same shape, just change the color. 2. Weapons - Reasons are like clothes. 3. There are not many Mods. 4. Boring quests Especially having to play the role of a messenger boy.
Makes sense lorewise, mass production and corporate lack of innovation. They got money but no competitive edge to stand out, all the companies are competing but do so in a way that they try to keep it as profitable for everyone as possible since they're a oligarchic monopoly.
problem is that i love some weapons and use them always,but level them up or tinker w them as much as possible..is this a ok way for weapons to be good enough compared to the ones i dont use n got a higher dps later on in game(hope u understood me=).. With all due respect you don't know how those weapons work in-universe, there is no rule that e.g. pistols need to have the slide locked back, to check wether this is correct or not you'd have to see and understand how the inside mechanism looks which we obviously don't, especialy given the game is sci-fi and who knows how those guns operate. Also, Auto-Mag may be a reference to magazine mechanism or even the manufacturer, and so on and so forth. I'm not a fan of the game or the designs but I think you're horribly nitpicking. Other than that very nice video with attention to detail, respect.

Having played this game and finding it fun, this video made me realize how underwhelming the weapons are. I love the revolver and the bolt action sniper rifle in this but everything else to the designs are complete garbage. It's the same thing with Fallout 4's vanilla weapons with their ugly designs. And much like Fallout 4 as well, for a modern game, you'd think they would get reloading right where they don't need to rechamber the bullet if it's already in there everytime they reload.
this is pretty common for rpgs like these, since they are "shooting at all directions" when it comes to gameplay/budget, the weapons end up feeling not as polished as the ones in fps games (although I believe Fo4 can not have the same excuse). But, to be honest I do believe outer worlds' weapons fit in quite nicely with the Space Opera-retro-sci fi style, which I cannot say the same for Fallout 4, a game which takes place on earth and has real world weapons.
@@Rex-qd1od And it was up for the modding community to make those weapons which made the game 100x as better. Helps with the real military BDUs and equipment as well.

Bash key is t by default. Bit buggy though when it won't give decent knockback on the enemy.

Dude you have to decrease the time spent on each weapon. I had to watch this on 2x speed and even then its still too slow.
