@PERIZ99 I know exactly what those are. I'm green with envy. That Tranket is possibly the best piece of pop art ever. The Jupiter wr is a boys dream come true.
That's a sweet collection .I actually had a shit ton of records, but the wet and damp ruined them as well as no one would buy them. Only a select few sold for a hefty sum.🙄🤑🥴Now I'd like to start collecting but every thrift junk shop is closed🤔
Ohhhhhh...if I could snatch one small radio from there !!! Really feeling ENVIOUS...our golden era of 50's & 60' stops here.. Yes...I would like to be a CRIMINAL for these most PRECIOUS items..Pls don't mind anything sir... From Kolkata.. India
Very nice collection! You have a lot of nice transistor radios for sure. Also, I have a Globe Scout like yours but my decals are all wore of the front panel and I had to repaint it but now can't find any of the labels for the front panel so it is just blank for now. 73
+RadioHamGuy Thank You. My Globe Scout 65A is my favorite TX. Never had the money, or strength to lift a true plate modulated rig. This is as close as I got. 73
I see you have 2 Clairtone Mini HI FI's. May I suggest the book "The Art of Clairtone" The Making of a Design Icon 1958-1971. The authors are Nina Munk and Rachel Gotlieb. Clairtone design was so ultra cool and sophisticated. Way ahead of its time and perfect for the 1960's. You have a great collection.
Nice collection. I too, have a small collection, though I have a few more tube radios, and about 28 transistor radios. But really, nothing very valuable.
Excellent radio collection.

I still have most of my records. I even have some of my 8-tracks, and a few players.

I like those old pocket transitor radio's, they were well made little items in late 50s early 60s and not cheap to buy either

If you want to build a 13.5V battery , then try stacking together nine AAAA cells in series like in a standard 9V xsisto battery
Thanks

I'm currently homeless, so I will check the local library.
