Not sure how Sumerians would work, given the Egyptians seem to have taken a bit from them. 😕
But Aztecs and Celts would be absolutely amazing! Maybe thrown an ancient Indian civ as well! (sorry, I'm not knowledgeful enough to know the specific name they went by)

This looks great! I especially love the building assets. I actually do a lot with and help history and archaeology channels out with content on Mesoamerica. I'm not sure if you guys still want/need additional help and input, but if you all do, I'd be down to share some resources and stuff potentially down the line!

Hi! the Aztec civilization is almost finished and there will be few changes if any at all. We will also create the Maya civilization, and we could use your help for Maya culture research.

@@aomrotg9979 I'd be happy to help with what I can! Central Mexico with the Aztec and Teotihuacan is what I know the most and have the most resources on but I should have some input on the Maya as well. If you all wanna talk further, I sent a FR to ABI3 on steam!

Aztecs did not live in jungles. Mayans lived in jungles, which is a different civilization. I had the same confusion too. One of the developers of this mod told me.

How do I play as the Azetcs in the map editor?

You have to set the god as Shennong and then a Trigger to set the Age1"Aztec god" which will run immediately once the map is tested
