I think it's a real shame that most people associate Sniper Elite only with shooting Hitler's balls of and not with a quite engaging stealth/sniping "simulator." They really should get recognition for their work.
That's the ad campaign working. Good games in the middle market get overlooked if they don't have something to make them stick out. The Sniper Elite games are great on their own, their popularity is partially due to being able to kill Hitler, because it's silly.

Is killing Hitler all this series has left to offer (again). At least Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is drastically different from the previous game. It's seems to be a hybrid of Far Cry 3/4 and MGS V. Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 (and maybe the original as well idk) were more like... this and Sniper Elites 2 & 3.
Can we get a DLC where you kill Mussolini, maybe even Tojo? Just someone other than Hitler at least, it gets a bit repetitive. Maybe even make a DLC where you play as a German sniper and assassinate Churchill or some other western leader?
I enjoyed the 3rd game quite a bit. This looks pretty good too, think I'll give it a try when it comes out. One thing though, we've killed Hitler twice already. Can't we shoot Mussolini instead?
Cant wait for this to be released, but if it aint got shoulder swap-like the rest didnt have, then I am obtaining it by a trade in, or borrow from a friend. ALL Snipers have the simple ability to swap shoulders, so why should a game franchise be allowed to get away with not including it. Simple mechanics too.
I dont like this game, because it wont let me stay hidden (in secret). This game is lacking covers for sniper rifle shots.(unlike Sniper elite 3). Only way to stay unspotted is using silenced pistol, but in big areas it is not very convinient weapon.
Wait a minute. For Honor is coming out on the same day as this. I have to choose, Fight Knights, Vikings, and Samurai, or do I fight the Nazis? I might get For Honor because I am more focused on that and it looks awesome. I got maybe about 2 spots for games in early 2017. And I am thinking about For Honor and Metal Gear Survive.
Because Michael is a generic looking video game character. That's why other characters looks like him. Or vice versa. Although, the sniper does remind me of Brad Pitt in Fury.
