We had to put our 15 year old Dachshund down 3 weeks ago and seeing your dog reminds me of our Dog when he was a puppy, I miss him dearly.
I am so sorry! I can't imagine what it will feel like when Toby leaves us. We love him so much!
I can't quit watching this little guy and his parents. He is so smart and his parents are so patient in training him.

We currently have a brother and sister pair of mini reds about 5 months old. Got them at 8 weeks.
They are my 6th and 7th ones and the amount of UNCONDITIONAL love they show us far over shadows all their stubbornness, potty training concerns and all the rest ❗️

How cute. I just love dachshunds. I have two miniature dachshunds named Megan & Kellee. Megan is a pure 100% Miniature Dachshund Tan/Black, and Kellee is half a Dachshund and Shih-Tzu. But, has the dachshund body and features, but the hair on her is long and her snout isn't that long like a typical dachshund. But, all-in-all, they are the most sweetest girls me and my husband has ever had. We love them both immensely. They also go everywhere with us when we travel. They love to travel and are great in the car when we travel for long distances. My first dog was a Dachshund/German Shepherd, and he looked like a German Shepherd but with a body of a regular size dachshund.

Dachshunds are my fav dogs. They are so sweet, if you've never owned one you are missing out on one of the true blessings of life. Toby is great, I never tire of Dashie vids...
I love the way he eats, then drinks, then goes back to eating again, like humans do. He is gorgeous. Just wish you would go back to doing more videos of him.
Thank you, hopefully soon we will have more videos. We are trying to work through some food allergies that Toby is dealing with at the moment.

So cute! I see he is chewing on a squeaky plushie. My 11 year old female doxie goes for the ears first, then eyebrows, and saves the legs for last. Her stuffed animals only last a day.
Zethrael of Teldrassil, Toby does that as well. Yes most toys only survive 1-2 days lol.
Thank you for making my day. Two months ago my little dachshund died of a heart murmur. Watching little turbo brought tears to my eyes. He's such a cute little puppy

Yes, "Turbo" fits him, as it does most Doxies. Love the turbo-charged head-shake when he's got hold of that squeaky toy.

I am absolutely in love with your dog. I have watched all the videos and the love you have for him is obvious. You take such good care of him. I know he's just like your child. The love of a pet like Toby is not possible from a human. That's sad but true. Congratulations on your wonderful life with Toby! Hope I can find a Toby out there somewhere when my health improves.

There is nothing that beats a silver dapple longhaired Dachsie! I have two at the moment (and four other Dachsies) and I have had two others before. But none of them has been half so obedient as Toby! He is simply adorable.

wow you guys were able to train him at just 9 wks of age that's amazing! My Sammy took a while to potty train on weepad. He mastered it by 10 mos of age. He's a yr now so he knows how to potty out doors and in doors perfectly no more accidents. I had a dapple long haired mini also but she passed last yr. Love Dachshunds, they are the only breed of dogs I've owned and love.
I agree my favorite breed as well. So sorry for your loss! Yes Toby learned his potty training very fast. It shocked us too.
I absolutely love him. He is the most special dachshund on the planet and you guys are very fortunate to have him! A real joy to watch.

This really started as a way for us to keep a video record of Toby. But yes I agree that he is very cute!

What did y'all do? Beat him or put a chip in his head? Lol, just kidding. Seriously, before ANYONE gets upset at the first thing I said...I do NOT believe in harming dogs or any animal. It was just a joke. We had 2 mini doxies, girls, and they wouldn't do anything we tried to get them to do. Maybe girls are different than boys. Toby is absolutely adorable! He is really well behaved and looks like just sheer fun to have.
