Wonderful articulation by Pandit Sharma & an eye opener to all the people who are only fed with the theory that partition was a gift of the British to solve political problems. Nobody is told about the devious machinations to bring about partition & how the Hindu population were left to fend for themselves in absolutely adverse conditions to protect their kith & kin .Worse they also got the blame for the horrors inflicted upon them because they didn't have any spokesman for their cause!

We Hindus lost so much. It’s only Gods grace that we have been blessed with a such beautiful geography which cares for us like how mothers care for their children. In recent times, America and Europe are experiencing droughts but We are lucky to have rains across India. This year’s Independence has been major eye opener, Europe is facing worst energy crisis and to conserve energy they have almost removed illumination from major historical monuments, on the other hand, in our motherland, even ordinary citizens are able to Illuminate own spaces this Independence. This is Karma. Our ancestors always prayed for Vishwa Shanthi and were only busy seeking Liberation but today’s younger generation are leaning towards Yoga, Sanatana Dharm. I see foreigners flocking to India to learn about our ancient yogic, ayurvedic practices because they have understood that modernisation only creates more and more complicated brain disorders.

That is the jealousy of some nations, ie reviving our knowledge n like yoga, Astra’s etc. All were robbed now when we say this all our ancestors invented, mocking. 1. How colonial Masters Camaflouged their crimes and left behind a legal system discriminating Hindus on their religeous ground.

Britishers conditioned deeply mind set among Indians so that it is bereft of factual truthful thinkingbfor generations.
2. Commomerating the horrors suffered by Hindu population the original inhabitants of Pakisthan in 1947.
Can be aptly termed Hindu Holocaust to be reminded on 15/August every year.

3.Conducting Shraadh sankalp for souls which met barbaric dearth at the hands of perpetrators.This is the religeous and Dharmic aspect which we firmly believe and release those painful vibrations.
Further it has to be extended to 1200 years since the advent of Islam to take into note of all souls who perished in a similar way in an extended time period, a period of Hindu Genocide.
According to conservative estimates 80 million Hindus perished in this period.

Very interesting views by Pandit Satish Kumar on the colonization of the minds of millions of Hindus, that enabled their enslavement by the British, who excelled in the use of 'divide and rule' and cunning ploys to maintain their hold on a much larger population. The "partition" seems to have a deeper, darker basis. The constant tensions, since 1947, between India and Pakistan, have consumed millions of innocent lives and costed so much economically and militarily. The arms race in the South Asian region is certainly the most profitable for defense contractors, mostly from abroad.
Enslavement and colonizing obviously had to be achieved by psychological means, so that the enslaved people were misled into believing that their culture and rich, integrated knowledge systems in everything, from philosophy, astronomy, mathematics, astrology, architecture, medicine, to music and literature, was somehow "inferior." Is there another ancient culture like the Hindu culture and its knowledge systems, that exists elsewhere today?
Today most "educated" Indians know more about the works of Shakespeare than about those of Kalidasa. This is the mental enslavement that Prime Minister, Modi, alluded to in his Independence Day speech. For too long, Indians have sought validation from western "experts" and scholars, even with regard to their own history and knowledge systems. But the true story of the partition and India's independence from British colonialism needs to be known so that India's patriots, including those who have long been demonized, like Bose and Savarkar, are given their rightful importance in India's history.
There is no such thing as British rule. This is one big lie being taught for over 70 years. And also Gandhi was not the person behind India's independence. That's another lie taught. Subhash Chandra Bose was the person behind India's independence and he never referred to Britishers as rulers.

A great eye opening past of Hindus and Indian partition. The reality of our culture and it's survival. The Hinduphobic invaders and colonizers could not erase it. I believe they will erase themselves like the Christian countries or people are becoming non believers and socialists or communists. Church money Power is at play but not its religion strength. I have heard this from my mother, now 96 (in 2022). She described how cruel the BrUtish were.
Farmers had to pay "lagaan". Lagaan means TAX. This tax had to be paid despite poor crop yields due to bad weather. The farmer who could not pay the lagaan was punished.
The punishment was that the farmer was made to stand in soft ground as on a riverbank. The farmer was made to bend down till his hands reached the ground. His legs had to not bend at the knees. Then a heavy stone was placed on the farmers back. The farmers feet and hands would sink in the soft earth. Eventually the farmers face touched the ground. He had no way of saving himself. The intention was to kill the farmer. The land without an owner would revert to the Government. The BrUtish Government. The Indian film Lagaan was about this.It was grossly watered down. Else there would have been an uproar among the sleepy nation. They still are half asleep. Most of them.

Partition happened because of muslim league...... Constructed very long back... In 1906....when no other hindu organization was there (hindu mahasabha: 1915, rss 1925....)

When you, the English, were barbarians with barbaric legal provisions and punishments, we in India had a very highly developed criminal law and graded punishments to suit the degree of seriousness of the crime. Even today we don't have such laws. And you sent us ignoramuses like Lord Macaulay to educate us!" My Lord, You are personally guilty of keeping me awake endless nights reading your judgments!" The great judge said in a very charming low voice directly looking into my eyes: "I believe you." Satish ji, whom I admire very much, spoke about Lord Mountbatten. Mountbatten was a great admirer of Gandhi and wrote to me regarding the celebrations of Gandhi Centenary in 1969. I could have cultivated a correspondence, which, regrettably I did not. But I would not have hesitated to express my views. But, most important, nothing should be done with hatred, for to do things without hatred or violence is the very essence of Sanatana Dharma. I never use the word "scriptures" to describe our sacred books, nor do I use the word "caste" without first explaining the Varna, Jati, Kula, etc.(They are Western descriptions of their own sacred books. Read the book; What is Scripture?) Please make it a habit to challenge when people speak untruth to serve their purposes. Simply ask: "When ,where and who used the word "untouchable"? "When, where and who used the word "Dalit" first?" In my own circle of friends, six Tamil and Telugu Brahmins married Muslims or people of other Varnas and Jatis. And it is such a regular feature that my friends and I practise the fluidity of our Varna system. I am ninety and I wish people understand Sanatan Dharma and see the basic unity that is behind the staggering diversity. I wish our historians highlight the fact that no Britisher was hurt or violated in any way during the partition days. EVERY INDIAN, AND EVERYONE INTERESTED IN TRUTH, MUST CONSIDER IT HIS/HER DUTY TO REMOVE GREAT MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT INDIA. IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO SAY "I LOVE INDIA."
Thank you Vaibhavi ji. This talk by Satish ji brought tears to my eyes that Bharath such a beautiful country was brutally plundered in every which way by the British colonizers and Islamic invaders.
The analysis of partion of India is correct by Panditji. We knew this growing up and saw the effects after partion and as family members experienced it. The old timers now long dead described the angrez as badmash, looters who robbed India, brought massive corruption. Initially they corrupted the Mughal rulers and Nawabs by giving them bribes, gifts to get concessions and later the East India Company took all their lands and taxes. Then aftef 1857 mutiny the British Gov made it official after their proxy the East India Company was no longer able to control the Indians. The Angrez then started to divide and spread hate between Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs so they will fight amongst themselves. The angrez is by nature a race who is mean, jealous of others becoming successful or richer than them. Once you understand this you can deal with their deception and protect yourself. However Punditji, although you are much younger I would advise you that our dushman now is Pakistan and China. We have to be careful not to make Indian muslims in India or the larger Sikhs community be deemed as our dushman because that is what Pakistan, China and Angrez wants so as to destroy us with infighting within India. While we support Sanatan Dharm we have to be politically astute. Gandhi and Nehru were manipulated by Angrez to lead us into gifting 40 % of our most fertile lands and rivers to Jinnah and muslims. They were made fools. I remember Ayatollah Khomeini once called the British and Americans as "Shaitaan" or Satan. At that time I laughed and thought he was a fool who looked like an illiterate Bihari muslim or a sardarjee who became a mullah in Iran and saying nonsense. But after seeing the facts of past he was 100 percent correct in his assessment while our own Pundit Nehru and Gandhi were made fools by the Shaitan. So do thd good work of making India develop and progress and not be divided again.

When.pakis5an had 25 % population of Hindus that has come.diwn to 3 % .what was the number of people.who got out of Pakistan. So we.know how many were.killed during the partition.
In 10 th century our kshatriya population dwindled to lowest ,due to our unique varna inbreeding.By15th century,we lost a big chunk of north india to muslims due to less kshatriya fighters and spread of stupid buddhism(buddha is wise ).but slowly other varnas rose up to the occasion and merged .the sikhs,marathas,assamese held ground and took back many areas.if british didn't come, i think we would have taken back akand bharath and varna or castes would have been only a memory.british increased divisions in hindu society..
