Your's came out so beautiful. I think mine are a little more matte black for the leather. The wrist on mine is like a caste, but not particularly snug. I love them, but i need more break in time for sure.

Ordered a pair of these, very easy to deal with them. Unfortunately they did not fit. My thumbs especially run into the seam of the glove. They were very easy about a rerun and advised i order a 14oz instead of a 12oz. I wear a size M-L work glove. These are my first Mexican gloves, do they generally run smaller?
Which are the other two best mexican gloves? Are Salvador gloves much better over these? Quality wise, are they close to cleto reyes? Thanks in advance

Based on your review of the red and white gloves I think I will go with the 12 oz gloves. I also noticed you got the lace up on both of your TM pairs. Is there any advantage to going with the laces over the velcro?
@@bretth5070 Better wrist support with laces and velcro gets worn out faster (and with that the whole glove is more or less useless). Last but not least, laces look so much cooler :D For having the same comfort when training alone, I recomend Lace N Loop's

One of the biggest problems I have with Mexican style gloves is that the hand doesn't feel like it forms a true fist. Rather than rolling my fingers in tight and punching with my top knuckles, sometimes I feel like my fingers are punching with the middle knuckles. Have you felt that similar problem before and does this have that same issue

Hi Carlo, you mentioned that these have good protection but aren't the most shock absorbing. I have old man hands and looking for the most shock absorbing / protective gloves I can get my hands on. Would you recommend the Winning? Appreciate any input
@@maybebabyny- i like training in pro fight gloves so winning 10oz and cleto reyes safetecs are #1 & #2 respectively. If i had to recommend a single heavier training glove then it would be TU death adders. Got them for $50 and they perform like a $150 glove imo
@@ryyonvin Winning and Reyes are out of my budget. I did look up the TU Death Adders and the site no longer lists them. I did find the Bushido Elite Pros. You think those might be the same quality? I had broken my choices down to Ring to Cage C-17 or Superior Blood Red. Any thoughts on those two?
@@maybebabyny - I've used c17s and think they're great. They were a poor man's winning imo because the lining started to come apart after about 18 months, but they are more comfortable out of the box than winning. I think you'd be more than happy with them

I feel that way with these gloves, they require a slight adjustment to form to feel like you’re hitting with the proper knuckles
