Am i the only one who still feels cool wrapping? Its like a ritual i go through, brings me peace before training. like the calm before the storm. if that makes sense.
Hey Carlo, Fortress have released 2 new versions of their T1 fast wraps. They now have a T5 and very recently the T6 versions. It would be interesting to see if you could compare all three types and give us your views on which ones are the best to go for. 🥊🙏🏾
I have the BOXRAW knuckle guard system. Two months in I’m back to my old hand wraps. I’m a sucker for gear and will probably make these my last attempt at fast wraps. I do love the option of my box raw guards but wish it was my go to. Carlo hit it on the head on his explanation on how you end up back to the old reliables. Thank you for the review!
Hi Carlo, I see that Fortress have a newer version at a cheaper price point. The T.5s are cheaper but I would be interested to see a comparison review. Also, would it be possible to do follow up videos to rate how long these many knuckle guards, Gel wraps and other innovations actually last for, along with hearing about their perform over time ? It's just that very few channels ever show the endurance of these products to truly establish their value for money over time. Keep up the great work, it's appreciated.
Another great review. The website says, handmade in England for the T1 bespoke hand wraps. They’re a little more expensive, but hopefully worth the extra cost. I’ll definitely be picking up a pair. Thanks!
Great video. I’m new to boxing and I’m finding your reviews really helpful as well as enjoyable to watch. I’m learning a ton. Keep up the great work. Thanks! 🙏👍🏼🥊
I think the T1s are ridiculously over-priced. I feel Fortress makes an attempt to over-do their presentation in an attempt to justify the crazy price tag. The overall protection is decent, but not what I expected. The velcro wrist straps don't match up right for me if I try to get the wrists really tight. The included wrap is comically short, and totally useless for any purpose. Worst of all, they are too bulky, and too firm for me to it my hands into any gloves with them on! I admit I have larger hands, but overall not worth the money at all in my very humble opinion. As always tho, Carlo thanks for the awesome review
Great review. I'm 179 cm, 81 kg, and my hand measurements are 9.2 cm. For the fortress guide, my measurements is wich would put me in a large. I want them to be comfortable but slightly tight to my hands, also very safe. I'm not sure. Wich one do you recommend, medium or large???
I might be in the minority but I prefer the PE|SS versions. A little more durable and sturdier. Plus as you mentioned, the stitching on the new T1s is rather poor. I would like to see a quality control check. None the less, still a huge fan of the Fortress wraps. They have saved my hands.
I want to grab a pair but before I buy a pair how big are your palms? Mine came out to 4in and that’s about a large to XL according to their sizing. And you mentioned you’re a medium
where did you get them? its stupid expensive for a pair anywhere online. 100 dollars on amazon!! im tryna get a pair for the 18 bucks per pair he talked about.
How do you get the compression wrap off after you use it (or want to wash it). Do you find it difficult to untie the knot created from looping it through itself?
Quick question: When deciding between white or black, do the white ones get dirty fast? I like the white ones most for the way they look, but if they will grey shortly id rather get black all together! Thanks in advance.
Hey Carlo I'm going to buy these wraps through your link. But what do you think are the best gloves for hand protection I always have knuckle soreness. Thanks
Another good review! So, I thought I had big hands. I'm 6 foot, 200 pounds and my hand measurements are almost identical to yours. For the Fortress Guide, my measurement is 3.5 inches (8.89cm) which would put me in a medium. Does this sound right to you? How tall are you? I have already ordered a freestanding bag and Venum Impact gloves based upon your reviews! Thanks
I see you using the egg weights. I have the 2 pound and 3 pound sets. I hurt my knuckle and haven’t been able to hit the heavy bag, so I’ve been using have the 2 pound set to work on hand speed. Would there be any reason or advantage to using the 3 pound set?
Consider the law of diminishing return, the heavier the egg weight, the more it could potentially change your punch technique. It also depends on your bodyweight. I’m 165lbs and I’m perfectly fine with the 1lb set. Try focusing on throwing with maximum speed and a lot of volume.
How would these fit with a pair of Cleto Reyes ? My hands measure 4 inches so just right at large, just very concerned they won’t fit with my gloves. Thanks in advance!!
@csquaredboxing Love your boxing 🥊 review videos, curious I have the T1 fortress fast hand wraps and I am having knuckle pain in my left hand, I’m interested in either the winning NG2 or the skulltec knuckle pads but I’m wondering would it be too tight of a fit under these fortress hand wraps?
Hi fastwraps are great for the wrist as long as you secure them with the compression wrap. This will lock in the support splint built into the fastwraps bridging the wrist and hand . For troublesome wrist we advise a small amount of tape to be applied in addition. Fastwraps are interchangeable and adaptable to the user with additional knuckle wrist and compression accessories that can all be purchased .
Question! Are these better in wrist support than traditional wraps? Or these more for knuckles? I have a bit of tendinitis in right wrist & wonder if these will help. Thanks!!

Thank you for the Review :) I have enormus knuckel pain from boxing. Do you think they would help to reduce the impact power with the Extra Padding? :) Thanks!
Would you think these are too bulky for 12oz gloves? I've always used 16oz gloves but recently I purchased some 12oz winnings and reyes. The winnings are not too tight wirh regular 180 handwraps but the reyes are real tight with them on.
@@csquaredboxing yeah thanks, I feel like the reyes are a much more snug fit so I don't think these wraps are good for them unless I use my 16 oz ones. Thanks
I can't for the life of me understand why ANYONE would EVER tell people to get these, it's insane. I've been testing and buying wrap systems and knuckle guards to under gloves for months. I've tested almost every known brand to every small brand. These are marketed as THE BEST OF THE BEST, their customer service is non-existent and when you call them it's always voicemail 24/7, when you message them they don't even bother to reply. You see all these big names in combat sports use them BECAUSE THEY ARE AN INFLUENCER SPONSORED BRAND, I can't emphasize this enough. Compared to the winning knuckle guards or boxraw knuckle guards, these aren't even worth the sponge you use to clean your dishes. The price tag is downright insane and the wraps they sell with them aren't nearly enough to protect your hand or wrist properly, you're forced to buy a longer length wrist wrap on top of it.
To my surprise I never imagined I would spend a lot in boxing gear. Im 19 and use 40 dollar venom 14 oz and hayabusa wraps and their knuckle guard. I find them to be solid when punching the bag with the guard and straps alone so good. I was watching csqaured boxing videos and I saw this gloves and this knuckles guards. T1 fortress knuckle guards. I am waiting to recieve this three items this upcoming two weeks. I'll let you know how it goes. What would you reccomed is the best gloves, guard, though?
@@cclaw2240 Honestly after testing basically every big/known brand out there, and sending everything back that wasn’t up to par with my standards, I’m most happy with winning knuckle guards and fly boxing hand wraps, I don’t like hayabusa wraps or gloves, I would NEVER advise anyone to buy fortress boxing whatsoever and if we’re talking boxing gloves I would go with RIVAL RS11V EVOLUTION SPARRING GLOVES.

If wrapped correctly they can be
Hi fastwraps are great for the wrist as long as you secure them with the compression wrap. This will lock in the support splint built into the fastwraps bridging the wrist and hand . For troublesome wrist we advise a small amount of tape to be applied in addition. Fastwraps are interchangeable and adaptable to the user with additional knuckle wrist and compression accessories that can all be purchased .
