Metal Raiders was the 1st box I ever opened for my 14th birthday in 2008, it was a euro version at that time I didn’t know what the e stood for, but I just wanted to pull Mirror Force and I did it! I don’t even remember if I got Thousand Dragon or not but that was fun then.
I fell asleep last night listening to this video and then had a dream that ruxin came to dinner with me and my family, but throughout the entire meal he wouldn't stop opening up imaginary metal raiders packs and yell out the names of every card in each pack. I woke up in tears from laughing so hard...ahhh I appreciate your videos man! Great stuff!
There's something magical about the artwork of those vintage boxes, every time i see one is like a super fast portal to my childhood opens up and i can see myself buy one at the local market in front of my school 🥹
That was an AMAZING opening, so much nostalgia and classic staples from back in my early gaming days! Too many cards to choose from as my fav, I'd say it would be between Mirror Force and Change of Heart for me as I used those cards A LOT back in the day, such fond memories :)

After review: Solemn judge, heavy storm x2, change of heart, cata turtle, sangan x2, haprie lady sisters, mirror force, kuriboh, gate guardian, suijin, time wizard. I also have a ton of rares but the great moth stands out the most.
Summoned Skull is my favorite from metal raiders! Thank you for the video Ruxin! I actually just ordered 25th anniversary metal raiders and LOB booster box for the nostalgia. ❤
B skull dragon was the first holo i pulled from a pack way back when so thats definitely my favorite i always liked the cool fusions from back then they combined some of the best monster's
im finding some metal raiders 1st edition Portuguese on some cities in portugal, I already pulled a barrel dragon and a mirror force 1st edition, searching for time, wizard and change of heart! such an adventure looking in the shops for the packs XD

Opened some metal raiders boxes back in 2014, still have the cards untoched, but the prices are really low for the rares at least in my country, too bad for me. Sangan and witch of the black forest going for less than 2 dollars.
Favorite metal raiders card has to be either Gate Guardian because I bought the unlimited secret from one of my favorite small card shops OR Change of Heart because that card was given to me by a friend back in 5th grade!
I enjoyed this from start to finish, my favorite card in metal raiders is gate guardian, i hope i can pull it someday from a 25th anniversary pack. Thank you for posting this ruxin!
Late to the party but showing up for sure! MRD is such an epic set, but if I have to pick a favorite it will always be Summoned Skull. I pulled it from the 25th reprint and was really happy with it, I can't imagine pulling a 1st ed one!
Can’t lie has to be winged kariboh/ normal kariboh just because of how simple he is though the anime but paired with cards can stop some of the toughest opponents it’s just nice. To see him used as a massive defensive card
A lot of great cards in metal raiders but one of my favorites of all time has got to be Thunder Dragon, thought it looked cool as hell as a kid, it’s great in goat format, and you can play it to this day in Thunder Dragons
