I apologize to those who were confused because of the cuts. This is my first youtube video! i learned a lot.
I deeply appreciate the recognition it has and i am so so grateful!
I am willing to re-record this video and reduce the cutting. please comment below if you would like me to remake this tutorial! 💗
Yes please it’s a cute pattern but some beginners may be confused 😅❤❤
Thank you for the tutorial tho! Even tho it may be confusing, it is in fact helpful! 💗
As a beginner I think it was really great for ur first video! ❤
No hate at all but will you please remake this video because it was a cute pattern but the instructions were confusing the pattern itself wasn’t super hard.
Pls make another video like this cause u kept cutting and i sisnt understand my star looks bad make another video like this plssss

I love you thank you so much!!
If y’all are having issues w the last row, make sure you’re doing your first single crochet into the same stitch you just did slip stitch and chain 1. Maybe I’m just dumb but I was having sm trouble until I figured that out!
that was helpful, thank you! ❤️
if only i looked into the comments before i finnished it🥹
Y’all I’m still stuck on the last row, the cut is confusing me. Is she increasing all the way round the edge or just once? 😭

Amazing tutorial!
TYSMM
You are an absolute angel
This is not the full pattern, you skipped several steps
Your video is good .As a crocheter I would advice you add a little more instructions and steps and explain them a bit.
I just finished making it and loved it! I was confused at first with some parts but i just kept replaying it. Thank you so much! :D
Thank you for your tutorial. I was able to slow it down enough to crochet along and completed my first star :)
Thank you sooo much for teaching slow with patients so we can see and understand everything you’re doing ❤
I just finished a couple of these and I can definitely see where people got confused… it’s more like advanced beginner friendly! Still a good tutorial but i know it would probably not be as easy to understand if you don’t know how to kinda read your own crochet work because that’s the problem I kept having with a lot of tutorials when I fiiiiiiirst started.
this is actually really easy as a beginner 😭 thank you
Exactly i dont know what other ppl are talking abt
this video was easy to follow thru, i appreciate how u explained stuff and i bet beginners would find it helpful. the star itself is hella cute. thanks for sharing the tutorial and i hope u have a great week
i just recently started crocheting and this was my 1st proper project i made all thanks to your tutorial! you explained everything and made it so easy to follow along
I’m not sure why people said this wasn’t very helpful, I thought she went slow and steady and clearly showed what was happening.
the cuts in the video and not specifying where to go sometimes made it confusing but it is an overall good video just the cuts and not specifying made it a little difficult
Thank you so much for this! I really love the way you broke down how to do each stitch and wrote it out as well! This was my first introduction to a lot of these stitches (up until now I've been practicing with granny squares), and the way you showed how they work was really helpful! Hope to see more of these from you in the future, you're a great teacher!
i just want to thank you for teaching me something ik everyone is gonna love as a gift or just a commission. i love stars myself so i might try to make a little bag with these
as a beginner who has yet to actually finish something, i loved the way you explained things! was actually able to finish this without wanting to cry haha,, thank youu!!

written pattern (for myself🎀)

Hi! Thank you soooooo much for this tutorial! I struggle with patterns and knowing which stitch to go into - this was the first video that actually showed which stitch we needed to crochet into - like including the chain two in our count. Thank you so so much. I really appreciate creators like you who take your time to post these tutorials. I will make sure to purchase something on your Etsy as a thank you! ⭐️⭐️☀️☀️.
Also, you owe no one apologies! You took your time to walk us through this tutorial, edit it, made it ridiculously clear. ❤❤❤
thank you so much!! this was my first crochet project and I appreciate you being close up and specific! it was really fun and turned out not bad at all!
اول مره فحياتي اسوي عملي كروشيه وجايه هنا بكل بجاحة وانا معرف شي🧍🏻♀️
Girl your tutorials are so helpful and so easy!!like i got it on my first try!!thank you so much
Thanks for the tutorial! I’m doing a space-themed desk setup and these are a perfect addition 🥰
The star looks so pretty! I made it yellow to match my water cup and they look so cute together ⭐🥤 Thanks for the tutorial, it was super easy!
Perfect tutorial! Thank you for this pattern!
Your video is understandable for beginners ☺️ thanks a lot
You´re an amazing teacher!!! I love that you show exactly where the stitch is. I learned so much from this video!! Just subscribed and can't wait to watch the others tutorials
it was such a cute and quick project, I love this!
Aaah I love the way this star looks, it's the only one I really like from seeing other tutorials, and this is actually super easy and explained well, execpt the last row confuses the hell out of me 😭 when you do 1 SC into the chain, then another, then an INC, I dont get to the chain space thats at the point of the star, but the one right next to it. I redid most of my work yesterday, and counted for sure that I had 15 DC for round 1, then 30 for round 2, including the sl st. Idk what I'm doing wrong😭 unless I add like two more stitches?? But wouldnt that throw it off. Idk
I just did it and finished off on 4, i didnt really want a giant star. (Also didnt realize there was a 4th) but its adorable and i love it haha
Tbh idek what yall on this was easy as hell and good to follow. Im a beginner Crocheter and even so this was easy to follow. Idk maybe yall need to practice a bit more but overall good tutorial keep going
TYSM FOR THIS TUTORIAL!! I LOVE THIS COASTER!!
@4:09 double crochet into each stitch, she did two already so 28 more. = 30 stitches
Ngl it was a bit hard to follow. Mine look like a star like yours but a little wonky... I'll have to figure out why.
this was by far the easiest tutorial ive encoutered regarding coasters ! and its so cuteee i cant wait to make more! 🥰
Your explanation is wonderful
Was so simple, can't understand all the complaints.....
Any ideas on how to join the stars,I'm keen on making a bag.
Many thanks for your time and effort to share this. Much appreciated and hugs from South Africa
Hey milkxteabag I think u did GREAT on ur first tut GOOD JOB
no hate but the cuts are real confusing and sometimes its either really slow or really fast i cant catch up and the written pattern is so confusing. like it was fine at first but at the end where u outline the star i gave up cuz i had no idea what u were doing and there wasn't a lot of explaination
just replay for every star point, that's what I did and ik what you mean. its difficult lol
mine came out to be a flower instead of a star but it was still cute so thank you!!!
Mine too lol
you can block it (wetting the star and pinning it on a board to dry)
Same Same ended up with 6 sides instead of 5
ME TOO HAHA, I’m so glad to see I’m not the only one cause I was just wondering where I went wrong 😅😅
I love it! Thank you. Im looking for a cute coaster to make and this is perfect.❤
this took me about 30 minutes to make and it was really simple to follow, mine came out so cute, thank you so much for this tutorial !!!
Thanks for the tutorial..love 🇮🇳 India
This is a wonderful tutorial!! So easy to follow, only confusing part for me is the last row but everything else was perfect :) thank you for making this and explaining all the terms because a lot of people forget to do that 🩷🩷
Tyyy you really helped meby making it easier, and i understand it better❤
I had to add one more row bc of the size, so if you have the same problem:
•Make another row with 1dc, 1inc (2dc in the same st), 1dc, 1inc..... you must have 45st at the end
•The next part: 1sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 1tc-1ch-1tc, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc, 2 sl st..
Only in this way you'll have 5 points(?)
-At the start, you have 1sl st when joined the past row, so at the end of the row, you must have 1sl st, in that form you have the 2sl st between the points
•Last row: 3sc, 1inc, 1sc-1ch-1sc, 1inc, 3sc, 2sl st in the same form she did.. At the end of the row make the 1sl st, then join the points with a 'normal' sl st, chain 1 or 2 and cut the yarn
At the end, mine is 10cm aprox, from point to point.. I hope it helps
Omg you saved meee 😭😭😭
Please re-do it, this is one of my favourite patterns but i didn't understand well. Hope you see this❤
Instructions for the last row was quite confusing
please i am so lost at 9:00 with the increase its almost one please i need help🥲
same problem 😭
Me right now actually! Same time stamp and time too😂
Really love the proccess and explanation ❤
thank you for the video!! if i had any feedback, it would be maybe when you cut videos sometimes it's hard to know if you've already done a step or are about to - maybe speed up instead? and also possibly replace "that stitch" with "same stitch" / "next stitch" 🥹 just for accessibility purposes, i really enjoyed otherwise though and it came out cute
Super easy to follow along! I forgot the chain 1 as I was finishing each tip but still v cute!
good tutorial thank u its very cute
so i did another row of points and it becomes like a flower holder for jewlery 😍
now i have a star with 7 points, it looks exactly like a flower. but it's okay, i am wrong cause i make like more than 30 stitches and...
I tried making it and mine came out like a deformed flower 😭😭😭 (no hate to the video I think I’m just doing something horribly wrong🥲)
looks so good!! i'm going to make some!! 💕
I really like your teachings❤
This is amazing!!! But, do u have a written pattern
If anyone wants to watch this crochet video it was hard as hell
thank u for an easy explanation i could make it easily
You're the best, thank u so much 😭❤️

As a begginer everything was good ths circle was great but when it got to making the star tips i was not able to follow
I just finished this! It’s a little wonky but I had fun making it :)
lol!! How did I get a flower?!?! 😂 but thank you for this video! ❤
i like this but maybe its just the type of yarn i used, mine seemed more rounded than pointed on the edges? i used 100% cotton but it almost looks like a flower shape to me
i love this tutorial! It was very easy to follow. But as I began to make the points, my star was not flat. It didn’t look like points but I did all the steps right. How do I fix that?
I did this project in 45 to 55 minutes it was really easy i stared crocheting last mouth this is VERY helpful
In the first round she did 14 dc right or 15?
The cuts are a bit confusing. I could follow at the beginning, but at the end when you did the star edges, i had to rewatch the steps a lot. And even then i ended up with only 4 edges XD Still don't know why. So in conclusion, the beginning is good, just the end is a bit difficult to understand c: Still thank you for the tutorial. The star you made looks really cute
I don’t understand magic rings at all and I was so sad when you started doing because these look really cute :(
is there a way to use this star pattern to make a bag? im just trying to figure out how to crochet a star to get started but I have been wanting to make a star bag! ❤
She has made a video on how to make one on her channel xx
Omg girl you gotta out the link to ur Etsy in ur TH-cam bio! I almost thought u didn’t have one. These are literally so cute I need to make a bunch asap🥰
Such a good tutorial but mine doesn’t look I quite right, the corners are too tiny and square-ish, does anyone know why it happened and how I could fix it ? thank u for the tutorial 😁
Same thing happened with mine. It looks more like a flower than a star. Could it be that you also make the stitches fairly tight? I always have trouble with that, so I just figured that might be the problem haha
Thanks, i love it! ❤😊
6:53 (don’t mind just my time stamp)
Is there a way to add one more row to make it a little bigger? with the yarn and tension i have mines just a little small
and thank you so much for the tutorial! i have made three stars so far and love them! 🤩🌟
I know it's too late for this, and maybe already finished.. I had the same problem and believe me, it was a little bit hard.. But if you wanna try yeah, make another row with 1dc, 1inc (2dc in the same st), 1dc, 1inc..... Until you have 45st at the end; then the next part I did 1sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 1tc-1ch-1tc, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc, 2 sl st.. Only in that form can make the 5 (idk how it say but 'puntas').. And for the last row 3sc, 1inc, 1sc-1ch-1sc, 1inc, 3sc, 2sl st in the same form she did, and repeat till end
Are you going under or into the first double crochet for the first slip stitch because I go into it but it looks like you might be going under.
Has anyone who’s left handed used this video and successfully made a star? I haven’t tried this project bc I’m scared as a COMPLETE beginner but I can’t find any left handed specific tutorials :(
Could someone tell me why the points of my star are super rounded instead of pointy 😭
Can someone tell me how do I make it bigger? Cuz my yarn and needle are a smaller size than hers
I just saw your tik tok a few hours ago ab this so I saved it for later. now it's later and I found your yt video 😂
At 6:41 do you half double crochet in the next stitch
Idk what these comments are talking about because this was really easy 💀
My star may not be perfpect but this tut was very good and YOU WERETHE ONLT ONE WHO FINALLY TAUGJT ME HOW TO DO MAHIC TRING PROPER AFTER A MONTH OF DOING IT INCORRECTLY
When you don’t have a needle and now you can’t make the star ⭐️🥲😭😭
You can also use your crochet hook, insert it into the stitch, grab the yarn, pull it through, turn the star, and repeat
this video was good but try to lessen the cuts it makes it very confusing and with some of the stitches it was hard to know where to put them since you didn’t specify everytime but overall great vid
Thank you for the tutorial! I got a very beautiful star:)
I' wondering if it's possible to make a granny square out of this?
Is there any way to make the star into a granny square?
I don’t think that’s a half double crochet I think that’s a single crochet maybe 4:55
Great video
i love this!! please post more tutorials when you can they are so easy to follow 😊
mine didnt come out as big how would i fix that? would i just do the last row again our the circle part one more time
I ended up with 6 points :D?
Mine isn't close together its sepearte and looks weird. Any tips
Hi where’d you get your yarn?
The loops you're making to do the double loop around the magic circle are so confusing, WHAT LOOP???
Idk how but I ended up with 4 points instead of 5??? 😭😭
make sure you're counting you're stitches along the way and at the end of every round. you probably forgot some increases along the way and were short a few stitches when making the points
