I've been looking everywhere for a tutorial video on how to replace the HIDs in my Forester and this is the first and only video that is clear straightforward and to the point! Thank you so much!
Thanks for the support. There was one video I found on YT to which is how I learned how to do mine. I made my own video bc like you said, there isn’t anything clear that shows it.
@@midwestmitchell87 For sure! Yeah its nowhere near as difficult as everyone makes it out to be once you can see how to do it. And there was no way i was paying a shop $150 or more in labor cost alone for a 10 minute job.
Looks like Video made with battery removed. This is what I did that made access to everything really easy since I don’t have small hands. Couldn’t have done the job on drivers side without removal of battery. Great video. Make sure ya put on gloves to handle the HD bulb. Paid $135.00 for one friggen bulb. Love my XT though.

Wow I just realized how cropped my video was. Wasn’t like that when I recorded it. IMovie isn’t a good application to use I guess lol

@rainbowquam1114 is there any other option for the build or is it limited to the OEM SUBARU Brand…. Did you find a aftermarket type?

I noticed my xv (crosstrek) has no cutoffline and its HID, got the car used and im puzzled maybe the bulb may have been installed inverted?
