Re: smoke alarm going off when cooking - look for something called a “smoke alarm dust cover”. It’s like a miniature shower cap for your smoke detector. It was originally designed to keep dust out of your smoke detector when doing renovations but it works well for preventing false alarms when cooking. Put it on there prior to cooking and remove it when you’re done.

Meat your maker grinders were on sale 30% off black friday. i wont be buying one until another sale like that comes up, even if it means waiting a full year.

I like 1hp dual grind, 15lb sausage stuffer, 10inch Meat Slicer, Chamber Vac with oilless pump, 16inch external vacuum sealer, both of their sous vides, and their meat lugs from Meatyourmaker. I do not use sous vides for cooking meat however I use them for veggies, reheating meat, bbq and soups. I like to cook my steaks on the smoker till I have an internal temp between 120-140 on a smoker then sear them on my charcoal grill or fire pit.

FWIW, my Aldi Sous Vide had rocked for 5 plus years! I’ve verified my temp with a Thermapen!😊

I only use my cuisinart attachment for my meat. I think there are different blades. I never thought of it for doing anything else.

@@ButcherWizard Thank you for the reply Sir! I’m excited because this week I’m receiving a 20” wall mount knife magnet and a 10” Sashimi knife which I am drooling to get my hands on! Watch every video I just don’t comment a lot because we watch your videos on the tv most of the time.

Does the meat slicer thickness go down all the way to a shaving thickness? The photos show 5-10-15mm, but the description says 0-15. I'd love to try and recreate chipped ham from Pittsburgh or shave a ribeye for phillies at home!

IDK if it's a tool or not, but I've been wanting an Instant Pot for years and I finally broke down and bought one during the Black Friday sale. I've used it once so far and my only regret is that I didn't get it sooner.

I like your channel quite a lot but I know what you need for Christmas. You need a new microphone and improved sound production. Now that your channel is growing, it's time to make an upgrade. You do have good video content though, even if it does sound like you're at the bottom of a well.

Waiting list? NFW! "Sorry honey, but you get to wait a month, or more, before you can butcher all of that meat."
    Yeah. That'd go over well.

No problem, I know it is a long time to wait. Check out the description of this video for a similar quality breaking knife that you can get from Amazon.

Y’all need to stop using cast iron in your campfires. Just because Gordon Ramsay sold out doesn’t mean cast iron pans are not the most refined cooking devices still. 😂

That knife sharpener is complete garbage. Don't waste your money, learn to use sharpening stones.
