When playing driller, the most important tip is to look inside yourself and ask: “if the scout doesn’t die to friendly fire twice, am I really able to call myself a driller?”

Not someone who's been able to play haz 5, but the ammo thing is so true. I really like the synergy between the flamethrower and subata's heat/damage upgrade. I have my flamethrower upgraded to set things on fire really fast (this takes most grunts out on its own) and then pull out the pistol to finish off bigger enemies with the damage I get from them being on fire. So fun
I loved the editing! Especially in the cryo section, where you highlighted which perk was helping you at which moment I bet that took a tonne of work, but it really hammered home that idea you've mentioned in other videos - "which point will keep my alive slightly longer?"
This is a really impressive video but as a cryo driller I like fragile more. I just really like it. It's very useful because half of the time they just explode when they freeze and you don't have to worry about it. @@radosawowczarzak3132 doing a vid for all the new weapons individually. Also another driller vid for more advanced stuff I never got to squeeze into this one. Team builds are flipping amazing. My main is arc turret and spinning death, almost every point is stun related with not enough ammo to kill things. Yet I would choose that build 100% of the time for any mission. Even if you have a team build, there will inevitably be a point where you get ambushed and your alone, or your team is down. So you still need to be able to survive with it on your own. But team builds are great. Especially goo gun slow down effects. Just slow everything down and either your team or your collette gun will wipe them out while they are struggling to move. Of course not all randoms will be on top of it but if you have a crew then you will be golden 👍
Your flamer section really made me rethink my sticky flames, and highlighted the problems I've been having (time to kill). Likewise I refocused and tinkered with my cryo build after seeing this, and cleared a solo Haz 5! (Which is a big deal for me!)
With sticky flame it's important to have a good Scout. If you see enemies in advance in well lit cave, you can prepare in advance and kill a whole packs with like 10 points of ammo.
Here I am absolutely confounded how people are sleeping on sticky flames. Tons of damage, tons of control, very little ammo actually needs to be used. Only “weakness” of the build is that driller sucks against falling rocks unless you have lots of axes for doretta on solo EDD. Usually quite easy since driller takes small damage and deals high damage with small ammo spent and fastest overall traversal and mining speed.
Cryo/barbed drills/vampire is definitely my current main way to run driller. I'm going to give EPC mining a second try thanks to your tips. I'm also going to experiment more with the other two primaries, because I know my cryo build really struggles vs dreadnoughts and robots. Great video!
Funnily enough, the robots actually *are* weak to cryo, but only in a damage sense. You can't really freeze them. So an ice storm cryo cannon is actually quite effective against them.
Thank you so much for actually going into detail about the choices you can make in a loadout. So many of the other guides just list off what upgrades they think you should take without any reasoning given while reading out the stats that everyone else can already read, as if we've never looked at the loadout screen for ourselves. Sorry, but I had to vent about this, lol.
Great video, just two minor notes: -I understand production time and all made it impossible but I must admit I am a bit disappointed in the lack of colette explanation, I really don't understand how to use that weapon; -in the drone modification terminal there is the option not to bring bosco in the bottom lefts, that could be useful in the training instead of pointing at an object to hold. I really liked the editing and it made me wish there was a mod to have DRG cel-shaded.
He's mentioned removing bosco in other vids, I think this was just a more convenient way to get the same effect. I've always found it a hassle to un-tick bosco, and then remember to re-enable him later on
I'm jealous. I'm still waiting for the update since I'm playing via game pass. Since it's just been released I'd rather wait some more time anyway. Even the best dwarves (except for Karl, obviously) need some time to adjust to the new tools
Thanks for your feedback! Actually the reason I got Bosco to pick up and object is so he can revive you if you make a mistake. I had a few dumb accidents when I tried it and loading in and out got annoying quick. I agree with you totally and wish I could have changed/added quite a few things on this video. And tried many times 😔 I appreciate the comment 🙏
@@TheLegendOfFLG thank you for taking time to reply. The detail of the possibility of being revived was missed by me; I have read the post about the misadventures in producing this video and I am sorry to read that they happened. Who's to say a remastered going in even more to detail for each gun couldn't work in a couple of years time?
THE LEGEND IS BACK!!!! Many other DRG content creators either cater to Greenbeards or Greybeards, but a lot of players get stuck in a limbo between the two extremes (pending name, Longbeards) wanting to advance but unsure how. For those players, you provide clear, concise, and concrete advice on how to improve, something surprisingly rare. Thank you for your videos!
Good stuff. The visuals showcasing which part of your loadout is helping at a given time was a really effective tool, but must have taken ages to edit. Another part of the kit to balance usage of, just like ammo usage, haha.
Happy to see you're back to making content. Even though I've got more than my fair share of hours in this game, I love to watch your videos as they are both informative and help me stay creative with my builds. Great work on this video and I look forward to the next.
TL;DR I wish the video spoke about more advanced techniques specifically related to Driller. I really don't like playing Driller and I don't know why. To me, he just seems sluggish and I often feel overwhelmed. A huge part of me was hoping this video would change my perspective because I have friends who gush over Driller. They've explained some of his tricks to me, but I still can't find that love (or even enjoyment) for playing this class. I'm disappointed to say that this video didn't change my perspective. I've watched your previous videos and your tip of going into a Hazard 5 solo w/o Bosco is really beneficial (plus your other class tips and tricks are also really helpful)! I did know about EPC mining from my said friends, but I'm just a little bummed that there weren't any more advanced Driller techniques, other than general tips. Whether that was your original intention with this video or not, I don't exactly know. I love your content, but this video felt out of place and disorganised - were you trying to teach OC's tips and tricks, a generic video for every class but featuring driller, or trying to showcase a few OC builds? Please don't mistake this as hate/condescension, rather as criticism and curiosity. As you said, you wish you could've gone into more depth with the sludge pump, and I do too. Glitches and file corruption are such a pain, I feel you there. Technical glitches aside, I'm disappointed that this video was uploaded after the new secondary was released. I'm curious as to why you didn't wait until after the update (and give it some time to feel the new secondary out) before adding that content to this video (or making the video after the weapon dropped). I'm also curious that the technical glitches you had in making this video now, will they impact future video production/or will the same glitches pop up? As I said above, I really love your content and your valuable tips have changed how I build and playtest my builds. That I can't ignore, and I really appreciate you making DRG content. Keep it up! I look forward to seeing what the next video you release/have planned.
I seriously appreciate this! This is the kind of feedback that I am looking for. I couldn't agree with you more about the advanced tips, I don't want to be a newbie channel because there are lots of those. I want to get people playing haz 5s and carrying teammates. Which is the whole theme for DRAcademy. So regarding that, the issue is that the first video I lost was I not replaceable due to losing so much footage. When I remade it, I used what footage I had and ended up being fairly basic. I do believe the cryos vampire build example and epc to be the most advanced thing in the video. So I completely agree with your assessment. The reason why I could no longer add or change anything to the video is due to the video length. It got so long that it started eating 100 gigs every time I even clicked on something. And then would freeze and crash leaving me unable to edit it at all. For the future, I'm never doing a long video again, until I get an upgraded pc that can handle it. Unless its a gameplay video because those dont have the effects/transitions that end up crashing my computer when it gets past 16 minutes. I've deff learned my lesson with this one. And intend to follow up with more advanced gameplay videos with 3 players demonstrating how to carry. Which is where this all started. As far as the new secondary, i still don't have it as I am on xbox. A huge disadvantage for a youtuber. Someone can put out a video and get 20k views overnight because it's brand new content. Then weeks later I finally get it and I'm already behind the curve. So when I do the new weapons it will be when I've tested them in haz 5s and elite deep dives with high numbers. Then I will share what I use and what I've found. Maybe some day, this youtube thing will be legit for me so I can afford a new pc and the time to deliver what is expected if me. (I work 6 days a week) And you sir, have helped me get there by leaving this comment so I greatly appreciate it. 🙏 I hope to hear from you in the future. Rock and Stone
@@TheLegendOfFLG I appreciate you taking the time to respond, thank you! Man, those editing grievances sound like a nightmare, I totally understand the reason for your community poll. As a thought, maybe you could do a gameplay video with you talking over your footage (plus a few minor cuts/pauses to focus on specific things)? Just a thought. Looking forward to hearing what you think of the new secondaries.
clicked this video hoping to get a new build for the sludge pump, and ofc you use my build!! blast was my first OC for the pump and i just cant quit that DAMAGE. although personally i run explosive subata and neuro nades.
Can't wait to see a video about new secondaries. Like microwave temperature shock build that works awesome in freeze build (sticky flame build doesnt feel that confident for some reason)
And those videos are on the way! Unlike other creators I like to wait until after patches because I don't want to show how something works just for it to be nerfed a weak later. I also like to test my builds in haz 5 without Bosco and then several group edds before I even talk about them. So when you see the video, you will know it's been tried, tested and true ✌️
I use the goo bomber sludge pump and I love it. Slowdown on a large area with a nice cross section of an area, plus consistent melting on base enemies. It also just makes revivals comfy as well as bunkers. The barely any ammo is the only negative.
3:00 I actually use a mod that adds a ring that fills up as any weapon builds heat. Makes things a lot easier, I honestly think it should be in the game by default.
Personally in case of EPC I like using Thin Containment Field/Persistant Plasma overclock while using freezing 11 Cryo.Fight in the plasma AoE, while they get frozen then serve as free hp with drills while being ammo efficient overall, but spreading your ammo usage on all 3 almost evenly. I respect you use Cold Radiance with freezing 11 too, if you're agressive and stay close with Cryo you can freeze most mobs for cheap, then follow it up with anything you like. Thanks for this video!
I'm used to alternate between all 5 loadout slots for a change and even OCs inside it for some warnings. Adjusting your main weapon and then building synergies around it is definitely the most interesting gameplay part on Space Rig.
I personally run a mega wave cleaerer as I call it, which is an ammo focused cryo and wave cooker When I first tried out the build in wave five I managed to survive about 30 minutes solo, admittedly this build heavily benefits from just walking backwards, freezing stuff, melting the swarm, running away, then pulling yourself together. Something I need to personally work on however is actually making use of the throwing axes, I know they're strong, I know they're useful, but it really just isn't on my mind as driller when I'm running a build that already destroys everything it touches with relative ease. Even Praetorians aren't worth worrying about since i can just temperature shock damage them faster than an axe can kill them in most situations.
Damn I have to try that. I can tell it's a solid build because your not using your axes. I would die if I did that with most of my builds. So clearly it's working well for you. Your probably good at little things like not over cryo-ing wasting ammo, and general awareness of your surroundings. Also sounds like you have excellent aim and maybe on PC? I will be running this for sure, the numbers don't lie when you can survive that long ⛏️🪨🍻
Honestly the biggest tip I can give about the way I play is even just getting four or five frozen will allow you to switch to the wave cooker and melt a large group (RNG forbidding, of course.) The temperature being spread around allowing more freezes, and the chance of a thermal shock doing 200 damage and also freezing more enemies can get pretty ridiculous. ln essence you're losing out on the versatility that something like the EPC provides to instead smash your primary and secondary weapons into a single wave destroying monster. It handles every enemy thrown at it. Swarmers, grunts, guards, mactera, acid shooters, web shooters, praetorians, you name it, it melts it. Though I would recommend leaving the Praetorian and Oppressors to your gunner so he doesn't get bored.
All this in mind though, I used to run combo pyro in Team Fortress 2 for many years before Valve more or less abandoned the game, so I already have experience in what we call there the puff and sting tactic.
@@undefinedbhvr "thought i would recommend leaving hte Praetorian and Oppressors to your gunner so he doesn't get bored" had me 😂 You really don't need EPC if you have AOE covered with your primary and secondary and you also have a good scout with you. Thanks for sharing friend
The balance advice is so good. In my personal exp the thunderhead is known to be slow firing so i equipped carpet bomber and added faster firing in tier 2 and 3 and now the thunderhead shits bugs away.
The way impact axes work is interesting. I wonder if the reason why it can sail through a whole bunch of those poison generating mushrooms and be reused as long as it doesn't hit any other non-solid surface targets along the way comes down to the ax consistently mulching the poison mushrooms with the first instance of damage, or if the impact acts just behaves differently against them than it does against most targets.
Great video! Most builds don't come with an explanation, you went pretty in depth. Too bad the Wave Cooker didn't come out by the time you released this video, I wanted to know what you thought about it, I feel it is pretty terrible for range, but it pairs well with the cryo cannon.
before this video I was either a damage flamethrower and a stable overclock of ammo with flying nightmare Or a cryo wiith unstable overclock that upgrade massively my damage against frozen ennemies (ice storm with flying nightmares Also, I'm gonna play EPC mining tool now that I can finally know how to waste a thousand shots on it, thanks :)
While this is obviously helpful for most players, I feel like it goes without saying that everyone knows(or should know) that the driller’s main purpose is not to actually drill or to apply debuffs to enemies, it’s to down the scout as much as possible with extreme and instant prejudice! You have satchel charges for a reason, you know!
Yeah, Sticky Flames can have its issues with TTK but it was damn hard to beat on anti-horde ammo economy before sludge pump... I used to solo EDD way back, before the difficulty nerfs. Also after Refinement and Escort came out. Could use a pal to run through unlocking the new stuff. Bounce ideas off of. Keep the OC grind fresh. Need a hand? I'll ping you on Discord.
Another thing people fail to consider is ammo economy. You should make a decision when you are making your build: Do you want to last a long time without resup or do you want to deal maximum damage? your weapons should usually run out of ammo at the same time, and here is why. If you are running a lasting build, you should be using both of your weapons enough to run out at roughly same time, whenever that time may be, and if you are running a damage build, your weapons should be out of ammo at the same time because if they are not it is a surefire sign that at least one of your weapons isnt optimal, hence the overuse of the other weapon until it ran out of ammo.
Very good point! So many people just use 1 weapon and not as much as a bubble shield for an entire mission. But call resupplies when missing 1 bar even though they are full on everything else. Then they wonder why they can't clear Edds which are so ammo demanding.
Sludge Blast isn't quite as powerful as I expected it to be, it also makes dealing with groups a hassle so I'm using AG Mixture and that's doing pretty well, helps with Mactera too.
21:47 I joined a random lobby that was Liquid Refining, and they had a Signal Transmitter and a Trililite Meteor events that spawned, and they gave ZERO quacks about it, myself and the other random attempted to do them, but as we did, they started the refining machine, triggering waves of enemies and refused to help us. We failed both events, but did succeed in the primary objective. (Yes they were relatively new players) But that was a first for me, typically most players want to do everything and are eager to learn, not these guys though.
Question boss, how did your driller shotgun sludge pump build change on your 5th perk slot thing for it? I can’t take armor breaking, only have two choices there now.
With Bosco you can go to his terminal. And in the bottom left there's a box you can uncheck so you don't bring him with you Gives you truly just 1 life. And you don't need him carrying an Aquarq and getting in the way.
Indeed! Although with the load times in and out, bringing Bosco can help revive you for stupid mistakes of which I made many while testing these builds. I also enjoy the extra light source. But this can deff work too, in my original engie masterclass I recommend to do that so you are forced to load out and change your build. So deff a good tip here for someone serous about testing these points out.
cryo is my favourite by far, because you can abuse vampire perk, use drill often in fight, wich is fun, and make exploder never explode near you and your teammate when i unlocked cryo, after few try even i was greenbeard i was able to do haz 5 without big problem, and cryo shine in teammplay for obvious reason, so haz 5 feat perfect because most haz 5 players know that freezed bugs are weak xp pinata
Disclaimer, I understand that a large part of this game is playing your own way and having fun, and that there is no single correct option when it comes to equipment loadout. Therefore, some may not agree with what I wish to say, while others will. But I would like to share my own experience from playing this game, and just the way I build my kits. My strategy has always been to take as much ammo as I can, and get as much maximum potential damage as as I can. So I ALWAYS take the extra ammo mods, regardless of what the other upgrades in the tier are. Even if it's damage or reload. This gives me as high of a maximum potential damage as I can get, meaning I can both last longer and kill more bugs between each resupply. I also view many of the mods in a way that makes me think wether or not I gain anything from it. Such an example would be rate of fire or reload mods. In my own personal opinions, I think these mods are just useless. They don't give me anything that I could elsewise gain with just more time. I can't hold more ammo, have larger range or AoE, or have a special mechanic by waiting for a few seconds. But I can reload my weapon or fire more rounds by just waiting a few more seconds. I always aim for as many kills/damage per ammo spent as I can, and in turn I can last longer before a resupply. And yes, sometimes I don't have the time to do such things, but again this goes back to the idea that no option is the single most correct option. People can play as they want, but still have fun and be effective. But overall, I try to get as much damage or kills, or rather possibility, out my ammo as I can.
Literally nobody is saying it does other than you in order to frame it so that's what I was talking about to validate your opinion. It's extremely simple math: When damage exceeds your shields and you have low health, you will die. When damage exceeds shields and you have full health you will instead take health damage and not die unless its an insane amount of damage which the exception does not make the rule. Therfore less health means more chances of death. But even as I made very clear mistakes, I was able to survive and get my health back without the use of red sugar or resupply. Which is the entire point, that the build and that part of the video. The video does not suggest the game effects your damage based on health. But thanks for watching anyway
Why not main all of them? :3 it's what I do. Sure, I'm still only now getting through silver (long hiatus until season 1 had come out), but at the same time, it's not like you're missing anything other than overclocks once you've gotten your first promotion. I prefer variety over specialization.
While the information in this video is very good, its a shame that you did not go into more detail of how the drills and satchel charges can be used, as this is where I see a lot of beginner driller players struggling.
Gonna just say this here and now: the damage from the mod on your armor that does AOE when your shield breaks isn't even enough to kill a swarmer. You're far better served with the extra 3 seconds of invulnerability on revive. Additionally, I watched a video that researched the drills specifically. As it turns out, if you take both drill speed mods, your Dwarf will drill faster than he can walk, resulting in a loss of ammo efficiency. So it's actually better to take barbed drills in tier 1.
I don't use the shield break for damage son, it slows enemies down and gives me time to get away. I wouldn't rely on something like that for damage. If my shield is breaking it means I am about to receive health damage so I best be moving out of the way. Damage really doesn't matter in this game. My main is a stun build and my gunner uses fear and it absolutely crushes every single mission on haz 5. I don't use the drills for speed, at all. And I'm sure what situation calls for it. Even with the base mods I can get away from anything as long as I am not overheating my drills. Who cares about drills speed? Been playing for 4 years and never relied on it. Just dont overhwat them. Also i hope your not referring to the drill set up made for drilling through enemies? Because that has literally nothing to do with drilling tunnels.
...then he can't revive you and you have to restart the entire mission adding needless loading screens. This was an intentional detail. My first masterclass almost a year ago went over how to turn off Bosco...
Great video! But EPC mining is a big mistake imo. You are largely forfeiting your secondary weapon to mine quicker, you still have to retrieve those minerals, meaning you could just drill or walk over and just mine normally. I also find I never really run out of drill fuel. So I’d rather spend that drilling up to minerals and using a power attack! I much prefer a pocket sniper Subata build to just crush spitters and that therefore it doesn’t really provide that much of a benefit
bro messes up so much on cryo. id prefer doing all ammo, faster spin time, and cold radiance with tuned cooler, and yk run resup, and either have steve for damage sponge to distract targets and dash to kite. but i want a newer video of this because it felt a bit too janky

At last! The come back is real! The wait was worth it. Great video as always. Very professional. Can't wait for the engineer!
Thanks for sticking it out and producing a great video in spite of all the technical difficulties.
Your flamer section really made me rethink my sticky flames, and highlighted the problems I've been having (time to kill). Likewise I refocused and tinkered with my cryo build after seeing this, and cleared a solo Haz 5! (Which is a big deal for me!)
Congrats. Next is an EDD.
Go and make Karl proud!
Thank you for covering EPC mining so thoroughly. I was struggling with it because I felt pressured to pull it off perfectly.
Cryo/barbed drills/vampire is definitely my current main way to run driller. I'm going to give EPC mining a second try thanks to your tips. I'm also going to experiment more with the other two primaries, because I know my cryo build really struggles vs dreadnoughts and robots. Great video!
Nice! Yeah I struggle with the same so I use a fire build for sabotage and sludge for dreads ✌️⛏️🪨
Thanks you for the comment fam
For dreadnoughts build with an Ice Spear can be really satisfying. Well placed shot can take a really big chunk of their health.
Ice Storm makes Dreads a breeze.
Funnily enough, the robots actually *are* weak to cryo, but only in a damage sense. You can't really freeze them. So an ice storm cryo cannon is actually quite effective against them.
Dude cheff kiss. Your content is top notch! Seriously every video I learn something new. Rock and stone to the bone! Yeah!!!
Driller is my least used class, I hope this video inspires me to use him well!
Looking forward to your updated tutorials and masterclasses! These are incredible!!
I’ve really only tried engineer but thanks to your vidoes I feel more confident in trying out the other classes, thanks
I like the way you think about different builds and by the way, nice artstyle
This guide inspired me to learn epc mining.
Ayyy, glad you are back dude! extremely high quality content as always :D best educational drg channel on youtube.
You've always been so kind to me mr. Shen. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it 🙏
Great video, just two minor notes:
-I understand production time and all made it impossible but I must admit I am a bit disappointed in the lack of colette explanation, I really don't understand how to use that weapon;
-in the drone modification terminal there is the option not to bring bosco in the bottom lefts, that could be useful in the training instead of pointing at an object to hold.
And tried many times 😔
I appreciate the comment 🙏
@@TheLegendOfFLG thank you for taking time to reply. The detail of the possibility of being revived was missed by me; I have read the post about the misadventures in producing this video and I am sorry to read that they happened.
Who's to say a remastered going in even more to detail for each gun couldn't work in a couple of years time?
Hope you have figured the wave cooker out by now but if not lazymaybe has a really great in depth guide about pretty much all you need to know
Driller is absolutely my favorite class. Sticky Fuel Microwave and Cryo Cannon Vampire builds are just so much fun.
Recently started playing DRG and chose Driller from the get go as my favorite. You made an amazing video here, thank you.
The effort in this video is insane, great job 👍
Here I am, clicking in as a humble miner but getting out as a chad. The edit is so good.
YOOOOOO that's such a sick intro! great vid btw, keep it up!
This is the first of your video I've seen, me and my friend are new so he'll love this. Thank you
Oh yeah. Driller is a ton of fun. What great showcase
Sticky flames build is very under rated.
OoooooOoo Somebody's been upping their production values!
Good stuff. The visuals showcasing which part of your loadout is helping at a given time was a really effective tool, but must have taken ages to edit. Another part of the kit to balance usage of, just like ammo usage, haha.
Nice edits! Good video. Can’t wait for gunner!
This is a really excellent, thoughful and helpful video, thanks for making it!
Shout out to golden moustache dwarf, the swag never sleeps
(I work 6 days a week)
And you sir, have helped me get there by leaving this comment so I greatly appreciate it. 🙏
I hope to hear from you in the future.
What a great video! Thanks for sharing and discussing the pros and cons of a lot of aspects of the driller.
clicked this video hoping to get a new build for the sludge pump, and ofc you use my build!! blast was my first OC for the pump and i just cant quit that DAMAGE. although personally i run explosive subata and neuro nades.
Great content. Good job putting this together and presenting it. 10/10
He's back
I use the goo bomber sludge pump and I love it.
Agreed!
Amazing stuff
ROCK AND STONE
excellent video man. thanks for the masterclass!
The EPC mine thing remends me of the Plasma Rifle from Unreral turnament -- RMB for slow, then LMB for detonation :)
drills have fear, stun and massive armor break capabilities without any perks, extremely good panic weapon
Dude. Thanks for the awesome video. I'm bookmarking this for a later re-watch =)
...aye, I'll comment then, cheers
He’s back 😤🙏
I personally run a mega wave cleaerer as I call it, which is an ammo focused cryo and wave cooker
When I first tried out the build in wave five I managed to survive about 30 minutes solo, admittedly this build heavily benefits from just walking backwards, freezing stuff, melting the swarm, running away, then pulling yourself together.
@@undefinedbhvr "thought i would recommend leaving hte Praetorian and Oppressors to your gunner so he doesn't get bored"
had me 😂
You really don't need EPC if you have AOE covered with your primary and secondary and you also have a good scout with you.
Thanks for sharing friend
The balance advice is so good. In my personal exp the thunderhead is known to be slow firing so i equipped carpet bomber and added faster firing in tier 2 and 3 and now the thunderhead shits bugs away.
automatic fire on subata should just be a tier 5 mod like it is on the warthog
is there a difference between clicking fast and auto fire?

ROCK.N.STOOOOOOONE
The way impact axes work is interesting.
I wonder if the reason why it can sail through a whole bunch of those poison generating mushrooms and be reused as long as it doesn't hit any other non-solid surface targets along the way comes down to the ax consistently mulching the poison mushrooms with the first instance of damage, or if the impact acts just behaves differently against them than it does against most targets.
Amazing editing btw
Great video! Most builds don't come with an explanation, you went pretty in depth.
Too bad the Wave Cooker didn't come out by the time you released this video, I wanted to know what you thought about it, I feel it is pretty terrible for range, but it pairs well with the cryo cannon.
before this video I was either a damage flamethrower and a stable overclock of ammo with flying nightmare
Or a cryo wiith unstable overclock that upgrade massively my damage against frozen ennemies (ice storm with flying nightmares
Also, I'm gonna play EPC mining tool now that I can finally know how to waste a thousand shots on it, thanks :)
Of course brother. "Together ape strong"
Didn't even know you could do that with the EPC. just thought it was basically a plasma rifle out of doom
Sludge Blast isn't quite as powerful as I expected it to be, it also makes dealing with groups a hassle so I'm using AG Mixture and that's doing pretty well, helps with Mactera too.
great vid
21:47 I joined a random lobby that was Liquid Refining, and they had a Signal Transmitter and a Trililite Meteor events that spawned, and they gave ZERO quacks about it, myself and the other random attempted to do them, but as we did, they started the refining machine, triggering waves of enemies and refused to help us. We failed both events, but did succeed in the primary objective. (Yes they were relatively new players) But that was a first for me, typically most players want to do everything and are eager to learn, not these guys though.
After all this time playing driller I have a mental alarm which tells me my drills are about heat up I could do it blindfolded
Question boss, how did your driller shotgun sludge pump build change on your 5th perk slot thing for it? I can’t take armor breaking, only have two choices there now.
They changed it in a recent update
With Bosco you can go to his terminal. And in the bottom left there's a box you can uncheck so you don't bring him with you
Gives you truly just 1 life.
Freeze ray, plasma gun, flamethrower, and then the poop gun
they removed a mod on sludge pump? I don't have the one youre using in the last tier
Ya know...I didn't even notice. I will check that out cuz wtf.
Yes, armor break is now integral to the weapon.
@@p_serdiuk so it got buffed? Nice! Thx for clearing that up
ROCK AND STONE TO THE BONE!!!!
cryo is my favourite by far, because you can abuse vampire perk, use drill often in fight, wich is fun, and make exploder never explode near you and your teammate
when i unlocked cryo, after few try even i was greenbeard i was able to do haz 5 without big problem, and cryo shine in teammplay for obvious reason, so haz 5 feat perfect because most haz 5 players know that freezed bugs are weak xp pinata
Is this still up to date?
Teach us how to and when to effectivelly c4 the scout
Good Video !
24:00 by game design you get no or much less damage when on low life to make you feel more epic
Literally nobody is saying it does other than you in order to frame it so that's what I was talking about to validate your opinion.
It's extremely simple math:
When damage exceeds your shields and you have low health, you will die.
Cool
Yea yea drillman yeah
11:27 C4 jumpscare
it's like you couldn't decide whether to make a thorough guide or a frag video and made both at once
Because that has literally nothing to do with drilling tunnels.
they changed it again. Less direct damage on your shotgun goo build
FIRST
for karl
You can disable Bosco in his upgrade menu...
...then he can't revive you and you have to restart the entire mission adding needless loading screens.
Comment
haha so funny
You using impact axes in a very wrong way
How?
bro messes up so much on cryo. id prefer doing all ammo, faster spin time, and cold radiance with tuned cooler, and yk run resup, and either have steve for damage sponge to distract targets and dash to kite. but i want a newer video of this because it felt a bit too janky
2:33 bro mentions xbox and playstation controls only lol wtf, kind of a red flag about the rest of the vid
