    Yes this is great it works also in parallel, along curve, and rotary toolpaths

      I prefer rotary roughing but it all works

    Looking forward to some of the 5 axis lessons to get upgraded with mastercam tutorials. I’ve finished everything mastercam from the academy, and finished all the free classes from mastercam university. Can’t find much multi axis stuff though. Again, I love what you guys are doing over there. Maybe I’ll camp out in your parking lot in flower mound until Titan gives me a job someday! 😆😆😆

    Fusion 360 version please! Don’t forget about all the commoners like me just starting up. Fusion 360 has value and catching up quickly. No way would I ever buy Mastercam. Maybe NX subscription though🤔

    AWESOMENESS BY THE WAY. WE BARELY HAVE A 4TH AXIS IN OUR SHOP, THAT WOULD BE COOL, BUT I WOULDN'T KNOW WHERE TO START TO PROGRAM THAT. 4TH AXIS I CAN DO, 5TH MIGHT BE A CHALLENGE

      5th axis is actually easier than 4th axis so it shouldn’t be that hard for you

    Cool toolpath. Too bad I'm not doing 5 axis yet. I should be by now though. Gotta setup those tool holders properly for these types of toolpaths. Do you use the machine sim in verify?

    I used to like to follow along when you used Fusion 360 but I can’t do that now as you have, for some reason, switched to Mastercam.

    • @ipadize
      @ipadize 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably sponsor reasons
      Or its because fusion doesnt have all 5 axis capabilities

    • @TITANSofCNC
      @TITANSofCNC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We still do both... Mastercam has better 5 Axis capabilities and is ITAR compliant.

    • @tj9382
      @tj9382 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I understand, it’s a pity that Mastercam doesn’t offer a scaled down version for non-commercial users who wish to learn the software like Fusion.

    • @ipadize
      @ipadize 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tj9382 wouldnt work because then mastercam must be cloud based so they can remove features later and let you pay if you want to use them again.

      You can download the educational version from the Mastercam website for free. (You cannot post G-code, but you can learn to program multi-axis for free with their educational videos)

    • @jaxnaturals
      @jaxnaturals 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The cost for the full version will run you $4k+ to $40k depending on options plus yearly maintenance

      @@jaxnaturals dont forget about the cost of postprocessors ;) for each 5Axis machine that can cost between $3k-'$10k (plus maintenance cost for 5x posts)
