I would really appreciate some Ethereum on chain metrics, as well, to be able to compare to the BTC data and hopefully give us a better understanding of how users flow between chains during times of euphoria. I think this knowledge is worth a fortune!

Your Glassnode updates have been absolutely essential for me to better understand on-chain activity. One additional metric I'd like to see is a visual representation of money flows to and from layer 1 & 2 (& 3?) projects. This may help to better identify where to layer in and out of investments. Really fantastic, substantive content. A++. What is particularly helpful, I think, is to see and understand, how some of the more complex metrics are built up from simpler ones. The presentation is quick, which keeps things interesting and moving, and is totally fine for folks who have a solid conceptual understanding already, but the speed of the presentation seems likely to leave the uninitiated in the dust (or a cloud of confusion and mistrust). I'm thinking, for example, about UTXO entries and discussions concerning the number of wallet addresses vs the number of active users. Perhaps the uninitiated are not the primary intended audience of this channel, but it would be helpful, IMHO, to at least clearly reference some "101" presentations (perhaps in conjunction with an outline/timeline for the current video) so those who can't quite keep up yet with the discussion have a clear place to go in order to get up to speed.
The content of this channel is a blessing for the investor in general. Hope you can continue produce high-quality content like this for the foreseeable future. Cheers and many thanks.

Hey there, always enjoy your analysis and explanations! One of my favourite metrics is the STH amd LTH Supply ratios, really shows the shifting mindset between new and seasoned participants.
Just going back to some 101 videos to learn about glass node. Hope it is not too late... At roughly 7:00, it says in the period from Jun 21, where the graph showed high price while low transaction numbers. The speaker says a lot of people who came into the market during the bull market were flushed out (indicating they were selling at a loss), and hodlers remain in the market. But I have a question... Since prices were rising higher at the time, (despite transaction number was low), isn't it indicating lots of people were holding as price become higher? It shows confidence in the asset no? But why would there be anyone being flushed out of the market if price was rising at the time? People who purchased previously should be happy that price was rising so they don't want to sell isn't it? If they were to sell at the time, they would be selling at a profit (given price has risen) isn't it?
I liked the end where it said metric to study with the channel drew. More example of extra ways to see these metrics like the adding of that bear Chanel on the metric to study. I would like to see a video on how to predict when the bottom of this bear will be based on last cycles. I think the halfing will play a big part in that and would like to see metrics with halving events included. Also maybe a special video on ethereum, as both past market cycles a person would have made way more holding eth vs btc. I believe eth will stay #2/3 this next cycle as well.
The active addresses seem to track the price so closely that it doesn't strike me as very useful as a metric. You show how it can be a leading indicator on the way out of a bear market, but I think I'd find that very difficult to read, except of course with hindsight. ;) Entities net growth looks more useable to me, especially in terms of identifying a bubble through a surge in new entrants to the market. The current level in fact looks like we're in fairly organic growth, making me think that price will probably not plunge significantly.
Great video. Most of the people watching are willing to know an answer to the only one question - NEXT PRICE DIRECTION? Very often we don’t even know whAt question to ask because we don’t fully understand the meaning of all charts.
the charts indicate growth and adoption, they also show history of different factors that have an impact on the pricemovement giving us scenarios about what might happen in the future. which means that the price is VERY likely to breach ATH after ATH for the foreseeable future. just hold on and keep buying

Thanks! I finally am developing an understanding of on chain analysis. One thing that would be interesting is to put an on chain chart on top of an Elliot Wave chart to see insights between the two. Perhaps you have done this before. If not, it would be interesting if the two compliment each other and how that works.

I'd love to see these basic metrics revisited and discussed in the context of years '23 and '24. For example, active addresses hasn't fallen or risen significantly, but rather progressed more or less sideways throughout 23 and 24 despite the steady price appreciation. Curious of others thoughts? Does significant price appreciation without a corresponding increase in entities point toward the growing participation of institutions, etc?

Great stuff. In depth gd. The long term gd. Like your honesty about buying top. Hence you go on to learn a lot more. I take from it the trend in users over long term is up. But so far this mkt cycle early May 2021 was the top, but as I know it as been a really poor bull mkt so far. 3.5x prev mkt cycle ATH only. Really not much.
@checkmate dont you think that we always have enough liquid coins to cause major swing at will. since the price generally goes up, even if there are less liquid coins in number, the damage it can cause stays high due to net $ amount available for sell.
