The JBL 9.1 was the best I’ve heard and I am very happy with it. It’s actually a 5.4.1, not much customization allowed in the settings but it sounds fantastic. The initial setup may be tricky to begin with, the trick is to make sure you are in a quiet room and play with the volume levels. Once passed that, it sounds great and is my favorites soundbar by far.

These soundbars are the cost of a full AV system so I settled on the budget £80 Creative Stage v2 after comparing it (in a video) to other 2.1 soundbars from Majority and Bomaker. Big improvement on my Sony X95H's sound for sport and movies (even tho the X95H is supposed to have very good internal speakers) and even good for music from my phone.

      @lanyburnett7966 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@ezraaempee it does not have atmos support. But, if atmos is what you really want, I don’t think you should even be looking at soundbars. You want full mounted overhead speakers. I’m sure the Arc does an okay job at bouncing sound upward, but no way it’s going to be as good as a dedicated set mounted on the ceiling. The Bose is just an excellent surround sound setup overall, that isn’t as intrusive (visually) as a full home theatre setup.

I have the Bang and Olufsen Beoplay, the Sonos Beam and the Sonos Playbar. Though the Beoplay has the best overall sound, the superb Sonos software makes it my number 1 overall choice.
Sonos PlayBar and Sonos Beam pluses.
    1. Once you connect, it operates independent from your phone. Doesn’t take any battery life from the phone.
    2. In addition to seamless playing every music service, the free Sonos Radio setup is fantastic. I use it every night for sleep sounds, though I subscribe to You Tube Premium and Apple Music. Still playing when I wake up 8 hours later.
    3. It faces the listener when watching TV. More direct sound.
    4. The Beam fits perfectly between the legs of my 48 inch LG OLED bedroom tv.
    Negatives.
    1. Not up to BeoPlay quality, but still excellent.
    2. You can only take advantage of the Sonos radio through Sonos speakers. That means you must use another music service when away from home.
Overall. My other speaker systems are interchangeable. The Sonos is not. It is unique.

I would recommend a set of speakers and AV receiver over a soundbar setup. For the same $$ of a decent soundbar setup you can get a superior pair of Speakers and AV receiver, and at the end of the day the sound from the speakers is a lot better imo (i.e. it's pure physics; a good pair of speakers can move more air than any soundbar setup).

How would the sn11rg be placed in this? One issue I had with it was it interfering with my mesh wifi network no matter where I moved my router (yes, I attempted to fix with possible channel changes but neither the bar nor router supported this feature). So was a deal breaker for me. Ended up going for a klipsch 5.1 reference pack with a 5.1 Denon receiver just to get into proper home theatres. Absolutely amazed by the system and have no regrets.

Bought all top bars and returned them. Im pretty tech savvy and JBL 9.1 was impressive till it had issues. The biggest fault with these speakers is they have major issues and user unfriendly. Sonos Arc is impressive but highly expensive with add ons and sound support codecs is limited. Plus sound output no where near others its basically a music player bar. These companies fail massively in soundbars and support. You want to make a top end bar. Make it specific like top for stream movies, blu rays, tv. The wifi multi connections they include can cause problems a lot since they using frequencies mixed in your household on wifi.

I bought the Samsung HW-Q70T Sound Bar (3.1.2) at Best Buy with my Q80T (55") TV.
We are very happy with it. Got it on sale for $299.00 plus another $100.00 off the bundle with the Q80T TV set. (TV was on sale too)
Could I have gotten the model above it? Of course however, the Q70T Sound Bar matched with Q-Symphony sounds pretty darn good. (60w TV Speakers)
I was replacing an older Sony 5.1 Theater-in-a-Box I got back in 2005-ish (Left Channel blew out) with my Older Sony KV-34HS10 34" HDTV.
The Theater in a Box sounded a LOT better when I swapped out the Dynamic Sub that came with it for a 12" Down Firing Klipsch Sub Woofer.
WOW...Rattled the windows in the living room. LOL
This new Samsung Sound Bar is clear, decent bass, and does what we want just fine. Granted it does not have 'Rears' however, I do not feel we are missing that much.
Plus it does have Dolby Atmos.

I was looking for a budget soundbar during Black Friday to pair with my parent's new TV they're getting for Christmas and I settled on the recently released Vizio M21D-H8. Normally priced at $150, I found a fantastic Black Friday deal and snagged one for $80. However, just watched your video here and the recommended Samsung HW-T550 was comparable in price to the non-discounted Vizio at approx $175.
Since these are Christmas gifts, I haven't had a chance to try the bar and aside from a handful of reviews and a bit of info on reddit, there's just not much out there talking about the Vizio all-in-one M-series bar. I'm curious how the Vizio budget bar compares to the Samsung one shown here. I mean, ultimately at the end of the day, I'm sure that for $80, it's going to be a fantastic soundbar for the price. I'm just wondering if I shouldn't have searched high and low for a Samsung deal during Black Friday instead.

Please help. - I got a Polk soundbar that was $88 - but the volume jumps up and down. Watching a movie with ads on TH-cam means turning down the sound during the ads. Is it the speaker bar or the viewing content that is causing this frustration ? Are there sound bars that eliminate this problem ?
