The arc - on sale, paired with the sub(also discounted) - is an easy call.

Sould I buy an Arc and add months later x2 One's for rears, or buy a Beam 2 + 2 One's now?, I wonder if Arc's upper and sides speakers make huge difference
For me it's if the arc is too much. TV is 8 feet away and that's the room depth with 13' width but we're sitting on a three person couch. 8 ft ceiling Advice?

I’ve been torn between Arc and Beam 2 for months. We have a 20 foot ceiling in the living room. Would the height channels in the Arc really be worth it? Could I just get the beam and add additional pieces to make up for the rest?

Some very good advice Daniel 🙏🙏 For weeks I've been watching, rewatching tons of reviews on Sonos vs Sony vs Bose to decide what is best fit for my living room with UST. Q950A makes the most sense to me (easy on wallet and complete) because my use case is mostly movies but it's so butt ugly. Sonos beam gen 2 or Sony HT-G700??
Beam2 - grab a mini sub at a later time
For my 55 inch Sony oled tv. Which Dolby Atmos soundbar would you recommend?
Hi! Given that my living room is 6x3.5m, which configuration is ideal for a space of this size?
A. Sonos Beam Gen 2 + Sub Mini
Or
B. Sonos Arc + Sub Mini
Having watch your sharing on the Sonos products, I’m so tempted to get the Bundle B to start building a sound system in my apartment.
Hi Daniel, can you review polk's MagniFi Mini AX? to me its such a joke now even those bluetooth speaker bars claiming atmos as well. Am i crazy or the corporate greediness has just hit a new low? .I dont believe it has any meaningful surround let alone atmos or dtsx, to me its like 480p projector claiming support 4k video (input). Glad to be proved wrong and want to know how it compares to beam.
p.s I remembered apple claim their match box size speakers in imac 24 also supports atmos and no one complained, i guess polk's bar slightly higher than that.... oh well
All i need that it doesn't have is chromecast
Some very good advice Daniel 🙏🙏
For weeks I've been watching, rewatching tons of reviews on Sonos vs Sony vs Bose to decide what is best fit for my living room with UST. Q950A makes the most sense to me (easy on wallet and complete) because my use case is mostly movies but it's so butt ugly. But then I start to question if my ceiling (17ft) is too high that I probably won't benefit from ceiling bouncing. Maybe I should consider Sonos beam for the DSP bubble...or wait for A9 for re-stock (I saw it on Sony store being available when I was trying to buy PS5 (no luck) but it's gone now. Curse CV19!!!! 😡🤬😡🤬😡 Your sage advice?
If you’re mostly watching movies best sound dollar balance is probably Q950A. Pretty solid bar.
your budget allows for the ht-a9? i would just go for that if youre not into sonos. hell, just go for the sony hta7000 at this point and build the system.
So does either soundbar sound good if your a android user and can NOT do room calibration? I read if you have a IOS phone it makes a big difference in sound quality? This is the only reason i have not purchase either. Looking at the Bluesound soundbar +. what do you think?
I haven’t found the difference to be drastic with room tuning. I wonder whether a friend has an iPhone and can tune for you. I don’t think not having an iPhone is a deal breaker
@@neverenoughtech No one i know has or uses a iphone so no on that thought. I t really concerns me that i can not get the best optimum sound if i purchase a Sonos because of this issue. i guess i can buy and try one in my living room but right now there hard to find in stock.
by the way thanks for the review and comparison on these products. it does help.
@@skydancerforever I also use Android but love Sonos products, so purchased an old iPod Touch gen 6 from eBay for £35! Did the trick and now I can toggle Trueplay on and off in my Android app. I also have the iPod ready should I move the speakers or buy more.
@@sarahneedham i dont see any for 35.00 but some at 60.00 or more. if i did buy one of these can you connect to the sonos app and use trueplay without activating the phone? just connect to wi fi?
Even JBL 9.1 is better than the new Sony soundbars except HTA9 hehe.
"he he"? That's creepy.
Eh … the sub is good but no
Sonos is terrible. It can throw sound around but the quality isn’t s garbage. It sounds very plastic-like and hollow. Not crisp like others. They need to combine these. Get the warmth of the beam but the sound-throwing of the arc.
I find the beam to be the crisp one not warm because of all the extra EQ DSP stuff they have to do to simulate height and soundstage effects … maybe the Arc could get a little crispness from the beam
He's gotten better with is speaking cadences.
He's pretty bad here.
That’s not me
Q950A is sooooo much better!!!!!!!! Sonos overrated!!!
Except man Samsungs apps suuuuck so bad.
I don’t know as I don’t own any of these but the arc from the demo sounds clearly superior to my ears. The separation and sense of space is way better than the beam 2. I also find the beam2 a bit too boomy for my taste. Don’t hate me for saying this as I really wish to like the beam 2 as my first soundbar due to the size n the price. I have small to medium room size and the arc seems to be too much power for my room. May be a pair of Apple HomePod 2 ? 🥹
HomePods require an Apple TV … you also can’t add with surrounds … a beam 2 would be far less unwieldy … set bass levels and volume as appropriate
@@neverenoughtech thank you for your reply. I have Apple TV and Sonos five. I like them. Now I think I need something for movie with Dolby Atmos. I guess I probably go for the arc 😂 . Hopefully it’s not overpowered for my room.
