Awesome video Jimbo👌 Incredible to see what is going on inside the cockpit and what you are constantly thinking about. You certainly have a lot of things to consider. Keep up the great work on these videos. Stay safe.👍
And I thought forest fire bombers were crazy pilots. You lot take the prize. That's some daunting terrain you're working around. Brilliant as always Jimbo!
Mate that was awesome. We're often flying around there in the gliders, but ideally not that low... landed at Taumarunui once. I've done a couple of steep strip landings but you sure have to time it well to get to the top, otherwise you're stuck holding on the wheel brake until someone comes to help!
Nice one bro awesome, just a question what was it like getting your pilot license and did you ever meet butch erni he used to fly for Wanganui aero works in taumarunui I rember some of the airstrips out matiere and ohura wow adrenaline rush that's for sure hahaha
I had to look it up,,it's called a cranked wing..and it's exactly as jimbo describes it..similar to a phantom and instead of starting dihedral at the root, they do it outbound.. And after watching a few of this lads low turns,,,I suspect it comes in handy to keep the dirt of the wing tips...lol!
Crikey! Where exactly are you? Not the specific farm, obviously. As a glider pilot I'm reasonably used to polishing the rocks, but you're doing it with a load on board and a job to do. Pre-light bars, it must have been quite a skill to put fertiliser where needed.
Great job Jimbo! An airplane doing de the job of an chopper! Here in north of Brazil we have a lot of application for this aircraft.👏
Brilliant stuff, very interesting and beautiful as usual. Cheers Jimbo!
Cheers mate 🍻

Cheers mate. I often wondered if you guys poked around there, never saw any in the 5 years I was based there. Maybe I wasn't looking high enough 😉
Awesome Jimbo, you just popped up again! I still can’t get my head round how that damn light bar works 🤷🏼♂️🤯🤯😂😂
Haha yeah she's an interesting piece of kit. You could try this video, I talk about the lightbar th-cam.com/video/Bk2TCU1ky80/w-d-xo.html Cheers

Loved the commentary. Flew a few sorties with some old top dressing pilots from Hawkes Bay. Hap Neville, Jim (Frog) Frogly
Great job mate, all the best for Christmas & the New Year from England.

great aircraft :) Thanks for the beut vids. Have a ripper crissy
Cheers mate, you too 🍻
Love it 👍
This is really good stuff. How much is this helping the stock's food supply? Like doubles it or more?
It can be a lot more depending on the previous fert applications, if any 👍
Cool mate, chur.

I know Butch very well, great fella! And a great part of NZ around there 👍 Cheers!
As usual,,stunning pilotage!!
And the numbers on that aircraft,,,wow!!
Iam sure the bent wing has performance purpose?
Cheers! The wing dihedral helps with lateral stability- it holds itself upright betterer 🤓

How do you map the block into the onboard computer to sort out the sowing area Jim?
Great question. Short answer is we use a version of Google earth on a PC to map it out. The long answer could be a video in itself 😊

A couple of miles north of NZTM, she's a beaut spot 👌
The pioneers deserve a lot of credit for the work they did pre light bars. Artists
Leaving that like 👍🏽
🙌🚀✈️
Wow that looks not to easy off an terrain.
Good shooting jimbo
Interesting about the the VSI 😳🤯
I reckon it's even steeper than the camera shows, it doesn't do it justice 🤠
Another cool video a couple of gun pilots at work. Abit more rugged than Southland!
