    I feel like Ymer knew that ball bounced twice before he hit it....he glances at the umpire straight after Thompson nets the easy putaway, then down to the floor....saying that, I think we'd all agree Thompson should have just knocked that backhand over the net to avoid any arguments really

He makes it even more obvious when he says talk to him. He knows he's wrong and is trying to hide behind the umpire. For me Ymer is a cheat and i will always root for the other guy. Even if it's that screaming idiot Sonego

He's a showman, simple as that and he's one of the most exciting players anybody has ever watched. He got to number 6 in the world in the big 3 era, which is a great achievement, it has been practically impossible to win a grandslam. Yes he's injury prone but he's 35 so it makes sense, at least he's polite enough to allow his opponent to finish his serve game before calling the doctor. You're an embarassment for france, not monfils, he's respectful, fun and a great tennis player.

      @@leopoldberger9037 Roger is older. He has been injured operated sidelined from tennis many times He is at least as sweet as Gael. Even when he doesn’t play tournaments, tennis lovers vote for him as their favorite player (not somebody else btw). Del Potro Cilic Wawrinka won their slams facing one of Big three in their prime years once Tsonga inclined to prime Federer in 2008 at the AO. He used to be motivated, mentally strong, technically perfect.l, agressive on court, nice off court. He also had his dancing routine on court. Other example of an embarrassment is Milos Raonic who was N3 at a point. I don’t see how it can impact his tennis legacy either. As an opposite example, British Raducanu has just won the US Open being 150+ something in the ratings.

    I was actually the ball boy in the background of the Ymer fight and the umpire was wrong. It's a hard call to make but both players were on edge cause many of the automated calls were completely wrong.
