- How to do “downhill” oak tree firewood logging. Since my plans to take back scrap metal fell through today I had to find something for Mike to do, so I took him back into neighbors woods to cut some downed oak on that was on hillside. JPF employee Zach

I enjoyed this video! Fun watching the rounds roll down & with the cowboy jumping & sailing them down. I was also admiring all the limb wood on that hill.

Downhill logging is always easier than uphill logging.
Don't see any hearing protection... just sayin
Take my advice faster production cutting wood 10" and bigger use a 360, 440, or a 460 with a 20" bar to have a single tree cut up in 3 minutes verses 5 minutes yeah be real dude save this 56cc for teen use only. 59, 70.7 or 76.5cc needs to be your work saws. 290 dude great limb small wood saw. Yeah obviously handles 20" wood but be more serious wirh more ballsy saws we'd all like to see that
Check out Joe's wood inventory videos.....he has a process that works well for him....inexpensive and simple....There is ALOT of firewood cut behind the scenes when the camera is not rolling.
@@mountainman1765 it doesn't hurt to spend a few more dollars in gas using more fuel. To each his own.
